“You’re so fucking pretty,” Levon mumbles, forcing himself to step back.
“Nope, do not get her turned on,” Miles says. “Go away.”
Santo snorts as he drags Levon away, and I sigh as I text Addie back about where to get her ticket.
“I’m going to change real quick, and then we’ll go,” Miles says. “I hate the monkey suit, but I can’t have the guys looking better than me.”
My lips twitch in amusement because while Levon left the house with his suit in its bag, he was actually wearing his sweatpants and a long-sleeved t-shirt. I think Miles just likes it when he makes me drool over him.
While he’s changing, I pop into my closet and grab my messenger bag, biting my lip as I watch him pull on his shirt. Not for nothing, but all of his muscles and slight spattering of chest hair is definitely enough to make my mouth water.
I’m so fucking happy that my alphas are all mine. The bonds are complete, the bites are healed, and there’s also a ring on my finger that screams “mine.”
“You’re growling, baby,” Miles grins, his fingers deftly hiding his body away from me. “Oh my god, that pout. That’s some heavy artillery you’re pulling out on me, Caelia.”
“Oh shit,” I gasp, realizing that I don’t have my stun gun on me. “Speaking of weapons, do you think I’ll be able to get my stun gun through security?”
“In your boot, yes I think that’ll be fine,” Miles says, pulling on his suit jacket. “How do I look?”
I’m tucking my weapon in my boot in its secret compartment as I glance up, sighing as I take him in.
“You look amazing,” I admit, zipping up my boot as I stand.
“You have a little something right here,” he teases me, coming closer to rub his thumb over the corner of my mouth.
“That’s—”
I don’t have a chance to tease him back because he leans over and kisses me, pulling my breath from my lungs as I cling to his arms. A moan slips out of me, and he rubs his cheek against mine to scent mark me.
“I love you, Caelia,” he murmurs. “Are you ready?”
I nod dumbly, unable to help it. Miles’ hand lays flat between my shoulder blades as we walk, and I sigh, realizing how hard I’ve fallen for this alpha.
“I love you too,” I murmur.
Miles doesn’t mention how delayed my response is, and simply kisses my temple as we leave the house.
“Are you going to be warm enough?” he asks.
Glancing at my outfit, I nod. “It’s easier not to focus on being cold if I’m busy cheering.”
“You’re totally going to be cold,” he snorts, opening the passenger door for me.
“The undershirt usually helps,” I laugh, getting inside the SUV.
“Mmhmm,” he says, closing the door to come around.
Miles keeps me chatting as we drive to the stadium, and he walks with me to my seat, where Addie is waiting for me.
“After the game, come back to the lockers,” he instructs. “There’s a ton of people tonight.”
“Is there anything different about this game?” I ask, getting comfortable after giving Addie a hug.
“Not that I know of,” he shrugs. “I get overprotective.”
“Understandable,” I say, squeezing his hand. “You have to go, Miles.”
“I know,” he grumbles, his hands grabbing my buns like handles to tilt my head up and kiss me. There are a few cheers surrounding us as he lifts his head, making my cheeks warm. “Be good.”
