“Is that what you want? For us to be friends?”

Her head moves up and down. “I want us to be friends.”

“Is that all?” I hope to God she says no to that question.

“It’s what you said you wanted.”

“When?”

“At the coffee shop, at the library, everywhere.”

Placing my hand on her cheek, I run my thumb across the softest skin I’ve ever touched. “Emma Perkins?”

“Yes?”

Leaning down, I touch my lips against hers. When I pull back, I see Emma’s eyes are closed and her mouth is waiting for more. So I do it again. Only this time, when our lips touch, I move my body closer and wrap my free arm around her and rest it on her lower back. Our bodies are touching. She fits against me like a perfect puzzle piece. Her breasts rest below my pecs and when her arms wrap around my waist, I sigh into her mouth. Using my tongue, I enter her mouth and hope she responds in kind.

When she does, the hand that was on her cheek slides into her hair. It’s soft as silk too. Everything about this girl is luxurious. Pulling back, I rest my forehead on hers. “Emma Perkins?”

“Yes?”

“I want to be more than friends.”

“Okay.”

“Yeah?” I smile down at her. “You sure?”

“I’m sure.”

“Oh, and Emma?”

“Yeah?”

“You autocomplete me.”

I feel a slap on my ass, and laugh when she says, “That one was dumb.”

“Sorry.” I chuckle before leaning in for another kiss. This one was even better than the first two.
