"I believe so. I can send out a mass text to the members of the Silver Lake Clan, but it shouldn't be too hard to let the members of the King Clan know as well. Where do you want to do this?"

"Where would be the best place?" Rob asked.

"There's a place about halfway between here and there," Randal offered up. "It's a little off the beaten path, but—"

"Are you talking about the park by the lake?" the sheriff asked.

Randal nodded. "It has a large enough space by the pavilion to hold a couple of hundred people. It should be big enough."

"I know the place you're talking about," Albert said. "I can get everyone there."

"It's a mandatory meeting," Rob said. "I'm going to assume anyone who doesn't show doesn't want to be part of this clan any more, and take action. Make sure people know that so they don't think they can skip out on this meeting. I want every man, woman, and child there."

"I'll see that it's done, Rob," Albert promised.

"Can you also get Mary and some of the ladies in the clan to get food for everyone? I'll pay for it, so don't worry about that. I imagine people will be nervous enough being ordered to a mandatory clan meeting. Might as well feed them to help soothe their inner bear."

Albert smiled. "I told you that you would figure this alpha stuff out."

"What can I do to help, Rob?" the sheriff asked.

"I need you to help Albert."

The sheriff nodded.

"Casey?"

Casey glanced up at his mate. "What?"

"I need you to get a hold of the council, explain what is going on, and get them to send a representative of the council down here in time for this meeting. They need to bring documentation that shows I am the alpha of both clans and that Ralph and Raymond were banished. They also might want to send a few council guards to take Ralph and Raymond into custody if I can find them."

"I can," Casey answered, "but I'm still not quite sure what's going on."

"My father is setting up a shadow clan," Randal said. "If he gets enough people under him in the clan he can make a move against Rob and possibly take over both clans."

Rob lifted one eyebrow as he looked at Randal. "Figured that out, did you?"

"It's the only thing that makes sense." Randal lifted his hand and started raising his fingers, one at a time. "New members are here, members you didn't bring into the clan. Someone is either trying to discredit you or kill you, maybe both. Someone is trying to take your money, making it impossible for you to operate a clan." He shrugged. "Sounds just like something my father would do."

Rob smiled as he patted Randal’s shoulder. "Randal, would you be interested in being one of my enforcers?"

Randal shuddered. "No, sir."

Rob's eyebrows shot up. "No?"

"Randal doesn't like fighting, Alpha Rob," Luca said as his arm wrapped around Randal's waist. "He will if forced to, but he'd really rather not. He doesn't have the heart of a fighter."

Luca was right. Randal's stomach knotted just thinking about having to fight anyone. He could if he absolutely had to, but he'd really like to avoid it if he could.

"You know, not all fighting is done physically, Randal," Rob said. "The best fighters around use their minds and their hearts to win a battle. It's not all about strength. I want to make you one of my enforcers because you have a strong sense of right and wrong, and you are very loyal."

Randal swallowed hard. "Really, sir?"

Rob smiled again. "Really."

Randal glanced at Luca, who nodded. "Then yes, sir, I accept."

"Great." Rob patted his shoulder again. "Your first assignment is to help me try and track down where your father is." Rob's jaw clenched for a moment. "I think we'll find Luca's nana wherever he is hiding."
