“No problem, I’m looking forward to dinner. Hi Logan, Harper.”
“Hey, Paige. How you’re holding up?”
Paige smiled slightly. “Fine. The press keeps asking for a comment, the board wants to meet, I have a lot to figure out but I’m okay.”
“Good to hear.”
“Harper, we watch you onCanada’s Best Dancer. Are you in the top five?”
“We’ll have to find out.”
“We’ll be cheering for you,” Page said.
“My dorm mates didn’t believe me when I said that you’re my brother’s girlfriend,” Hana said.
Harper felt herself flush.
“Hana!”
“It’s fine,” Harper said. “You can tell them that if you want. It’s true.”
“Absolutely” Logan grinned, kissing her on the lips.
Paige grinned. “Come on Hana, we’ll be late for our dinner reservations.”
“Bye, Logan, See you, Harper!”
Harper waved, Logan fisted bumped and then he closed the door.
“I love her but her energy is a little too much for me today,” he grabbed his stomach.
“Do you need a painkiller?”
“Kitten, it’s been a week since I took them. I’m going to sit down.”
Harper frowned, watching as he made his way over to the couch. From the fridge, she poured him a glass of water, then grabbed a salad.
“Do you want me to warm up some of Josie’s vegetarian chilli?”
“No, I’ll get something later. How late do you think your rehearsal is going to be?”
“I can take a cab.”
“Kitten, you can put down your fork, go grab a paddle and present to me, right here.”
Her breath caught in her throat. It’s like Logan had learned from Xander that swift was best.
“Yes, Sir.” She set her fork down, and from the closet, took out a wood paddle.
She stood in front of him and offered it.
“Rest your hands on the top of the couch.” Logan lifted himself wincing.
“Logan...”
“Kitten.” His hand came in her hair and she hissed out a breath. “Sorry, Sir.”
She breathed, as she stretched out her arms. These past couple of weeks had been so hard on him. She knew he had struggled with not being able to do his usual routine.
