“This happened this morning?” she cut me off, and I nodded. “Yo pussy still throbbing, ain’t it?”
“Do you want me to tell you what happened or not?” I laughed and shook my head. She was right, but I wasn’t about to admit that right now. Consonance threw her hands up in surrender, and I nodded. “Okay, so I went to his house last night after he called and woke me up. We ate and talked; nothing abnormal for us. He had a few drinks, and I smoked, of course, he passed me the bottle.”
“Of henny?” she asked, nodding. “And your ass got hot.” I opened my mouth to deny it, but Consonance gave me a look, and all I could do was nod. “But that wasn’t the plan, was it?”
“No,” I denied. “I only had like two small drinks and one blunt. Nothing was too much for me to handle. After we ate, we played the game until we got tired, then we went to bed.”
“None of that sounds out of the ordinary for y’all, so how did his hand end up in your pussy?”
“I’m trying to get to that,” I sighed.
“My bad,” she laughed, then zipped her lips and handed me the imaginary key.
“Thank you,” I said, then shook my head. “Anyway, he went to sleep lying on my chest, and I just laid there. I couldn’t sleep, but that’s not unlike me, especially if I’ve napped during the day.” Consonance nodded because she knew about my insomnia. “Anyway, he woke up around two something, and I started talking shit because I mean, why wouldn’t I?”
“Of course,” she smirked and playfully rolled her eyes.
“Our conversation went from that to him getting an attitude about something, then apologizing and him tickling me.”
“Because you’re ticklish as hell,” she said, nodding. “So how did that lead to his hand in your pussy.” She waved between us. “Speed this shit up to the good, nasty part.”
“I don’t know,” I laughed and shook my head. “He was sitting between my legs, talking to me and rubbing my thigh.” Consonance opened her mouth, and I held up my hand to stop her. “I know, I know you always said that stuff like that would end up in a situation like this.”
“No,” she denied. “I said shit like that would have that nigga dicking you down and begging for more, but we are going in the right direction finally.”
“Right,” I agreed, then started picking at my thumb.
Consonance touched my hand, and I looked up at her. “Keep going.”
“He was talking to me, and I was comfortable with his touch, you know? Like, whenever I’m in my head, all he has to do is touch me, and my mind settles. This time was no different. I wasn’t thinking about anything crazy; my mind was racing, and his touch calmed me. The next thing I know, he was telling mehe wasn’t sorry, and I was confused because he hadn’t done anything.” I sighed and sat back. “Then he kissed me, and I swear my world stopped only to restart in the same second. I was drowning but breathing, and it was all because of him.” I wiped my hands on my thighs and took a deep breath. “That kiss turned into him fingering me and friend, I wanted so damn much more.”
“Because y’all deserve more,” she said, and I nodded. “So, after he touched on you.”
“Stop saying it like it’s forbidden,” I laughed.
“Alright, so after he busted that pussy open with his fingers and had your hot in the ass self wanting more, what happened?”
“Speak on it like it’s forbidden,” I said, shaking my head, and she laughed.
“Just tell me whatever happened.”
“He held me until he went back to sleep, and I snuck out before his alarm went off,” I answered with a shrug. “He’s called me a few times, but I didn’t answer.”
“He’s going to tear your ass up,” Consonance nodded with a grin. “I love that for you.” She turned around, reattached her seatbelt, and put the car in drive. “If you thought for one second that man didn’t know you left or that you’re avoiding him, then you have another thing coming.”
“I didn’t sneak out.”
Consonance glanced at me and smirked. “Tell me one time in the history of you knowing Amethyst that has happened.”
I sat thinking and couldn’t come up with one time. “Oh hell,” I sighed and shook my head. “I’m going to need your help.”
“Not happening,” she laughed and pulled into The Stones’ driveway. “I like my peace, and the second I step into your shit, Amethyst Stone is going to show the hell out. I would rather be on the sidelines enjoying the show.”
“You’re going to make me face him alone?” I gawked, and she nodded. “I thought you were my best friend.”
“Oh, I am, which means I know all your secrets and the feelings you’ve had for Amethyst are yours to figure out. This isn’t just about him fingering you, and we both know it. It’s so much more than that.” I bit into my bottom lip and thought about what she was saying. “You have known that man for years, have loved him from your self-imposed position in his life for whatever reason, and now those feelings are getting harder to hold back. Why? I don’t know, but I swear on everything I love that I’m glad they are because baby, you deserve to be loved by that psychopath out loud.”
“He isn’t a psychopath,” I laughed, and Consonance snorted. “He is gentle, loving, funny, and sweet.”
