Daragh nodded and asked Finn, “Can you stop her?We need that crest back.”

“We will stop her but have you boys found Shanon yet?”Liam asked as he rubbed his finger along his jaw.“We still got her to worry about here.”

Daragh shook his head.“You three worry about Ria and the rest of us will see to Shanon White. We’ll make sure her plans go arseways.”

“Don’t you mean Shanon McGruder?”Seamus asked.

“Oh no, laddie.”Daragh chuckled.“Her proper name is Shanon White. She married Stuart under the name of McGruder for sure but that wasn’t his proper name.So it turns out that they were never married in the first place but I think that this lassie has more to worry about than just her last name.”

“Aye and what would that be?”Seamus wanted to know.

“McGruder has found out that Shanon was carrying on with Moses Lord something fierce and that just pissed him off royally.”Daragh shook his head.“Rumor is he’s gotten orders out from his prison cell and Shanon is hiding from his men.But as you know, Ciara’s got her own network down here and we’ve got people looking for where she’s hiding. And even though she’s up to 90 by being so busy.I don’t think she’s out on the road anymore. She’s hunkered down somewhere and it's just a matter of time before either we find her or McGruder’s men find her.”

Seamus shook his head.“I doubt she’s under any real strain. After all, she’s got the money to hide in plain sight.”

Daragh grinned at him and the glee did reach his eyes.“Now that’s where you're wrong, laddie.”He smirked and explained it, “Seems ole Shanon went and got her bank accounts frozen like some gombeen.Shay used the fact that she made her money in illegal arms sales and froze her money. So when Lord’s men and hell...her own men realized they weren’t gonna be getting paid they turned and walked out on her.”He shook his head at this.“I mean wouldn’t ya know it?There’s just no loyalty at all between thieves and gun runners, I fear.”

Liam chuckled.“Well, damn brother, that woman sure found herself in a pickle this time.”

“She sure did that’s for sure. She is in a pickle jar and the lid is comin’down on her,” Daragh agreed.“So I have a feeling someone will turn her up from wherever she’s hunkered down.”Then Daragh looked into the camera and said, “Oh and that fella Sergi is still around as well. He’s got his own men out on the streets searching for her too.His men are also pulling Lord’s men and McGruder’s men out of the situation.Seems the Russians don’t like having trained assassins in the city any more than we do.I know we never had much to do with the Russians, but I guess we never really understood them before.I’m thinking that maybe they ain’t so bad after all. They seem to want what we want and that’s a clean city.”

“Aye and Leon Vincinti ain’t so bad either. He has a keen sense of fair play,” Seamus added.“He may be a mobster and I have no doubt in my mind that he can be a hardass when he has to be but he’s also honorable when it’s called for.He turned over the Jammers to us for judgement when he didn't have to do that.”

Liam sighed heavily.“Aye, but ya canna change yer mind overnight, can ya?We stayed away and built our brewery up step by step.We stayed close to our own and never asked for help from anyone. We followed our da’s footsteps or at least we tried to.The Sons Of Ireland have honor and pride, no doubt of it.”

A long moment of silence fell as the words registered.

“Sure look...”Seamus finally broke the quiet.“We did the same as we were taught and you know what?So did they. They followed their own traditions the same as us and it wasn't until we had to reach out to the other side, that we learned we didn’t have to be enemies at all.So when we all met and spoke about what was happening that’s when we found out we could work together for the good of all of us.”

“Aye, that’s right,” Cillian admitted.“Was strange that the enemies of our enemies were the reason we collaborated.”

Seamus nodded.“I met with Leon and Sergi, they both seemed honorable. So I’m not so eager to paint all mafia or the Russian mob with that tainted brush anymore.”

Cillian nodded.“We can either keep our hand reached out to them or once this situation is over we can go back to our corners and stay there.”He paused, then said, “Guess that’s a conversation for another day when this is finally over and these shitty troublemakers are defeated. They are a poxy on us all.”

Finn now spoke up, “We got a man that can tell ya how to defuse those bomb devices.I will put him on in a minute.Plus, he notified the police here, so they will be calling you too.”

“What a gawdawful mess,” Daragh said.“A real grand mess it is.”

Jerry came over and spoke to the men on the Zoom call for a few minutes. Then told them the detective’s name that he made the report to.

When the video call ended, Finn looked over at his brother and nephew.“We need to move on Ria and find out where she is hiding.Right now, we have the craic surprise as this manky cuchlie isn’t aware that we know what she’s up to.”

Arthur chuckled.

Everyone turned to stare at him.

“Look see lad, we appreciate your help,” Liam told him.“But none of this isn’t funny. In fact it’s a bad dose of trouble for all of us.”
