He put down his spatula and enveloped her in a good morning hug.

She nuzzled his cheek and mumbled. “I need coffee.”

He poured her a cup. "Do you take cream or sugar?"

“Just a splash of milk.” He added milk from the carton that was already on the counter from making the scramble and handed her a mug of coffee.

Her auburn hair was mussed from the night before, and the oversized T-shirt she wore barely covered her round bottom. She took a drink of the coffee, and he copped a feel. She set down her mug and wrapped her arms around his neck. He leaned in and gave her a kiss.

“You look beautiful in the morning.”

“Thank you.” She blushed. “You look amazing cooking in my kitchen.”

Sean smiled broadly, his dimples popping. “I could get used to this.”

“How soon do you have to go to Jesse’s?”

“Did I tell you I hired a new sous chef?”

Nicole shook her head.

“His name is Lucas. We’ve been training all week and today, he’s taking the lead. I need to head over at eight o'clock.”

“Any chance you can call off?” Nicole rubbed herself against him like she was a cat, and he was a spot of sunshine. “Oh wait,I promised Devin and Zaina I’d do brunch with them at noon at your place.”

He gave her a soft kiss.

“I’d say it’s too soon for me to leave everything in Lucas’s hands. How about I make you dinner tonight and include a side of this?” He fanned his arm down his side.

“I’m a very lucky girl.” She batted her eyes at him.

“Yes, you are, and a good girl, too.”

Nicole snorted and did a coffee spit take.

“Behold the effect I have on women. I stun them.”

Nicole wiped her mouth and the tears of laughter from her eyes. She cleared her throat and then said, “I didn’t think anything could top last night, but here we are.”

He reached over and held her hand. “Darling, there's plenty more where that came from.”

“Did you mean this breakfast or last night?”

“How about both?”

“Both are really good,” Nicole said.

They ate in a peaceful silence, broken a few times with laughter and plans for later that evening. Sean would be going into Jesse’s soon. He was pleased that he’d get to see her while he worked today. He’d leave Jesse’s early and let Lucas finish out the day so he could go home, feed Hermie and grab a change of clothes and his toiletries bag. Then he’d stop by the market and pick up groceries for dinner, then meet her back at her house by seven.

Sean glanced at his phone and his heart sunk. His workday was almost at hand and he wasn’t ready to leave Nicole. “Would you like me to tuck you into bed?” he offered.

“Yes, I would. I’d love it so much. I’d pull you right down onto the bed with me and I wouldn’t let you go to work.” She came around the table, put her arms around his neck and whispered into his ear, “I’d wrap my legs around you and then I’d flip usover, slide down you and take all of that beautiful cock of yours into my mouth, licking and sucking you.”

Sean groaned and adjusted his pants. “Woman, what are you doing to me?” She pressed a kiss to the crown of his head and then walked away to get a sweater from the front closet. Swaying her hips as she walked, she stopped to turn and catch him ogling her. After he collected himself, he started clearing the table. Nicole joined him in putting dishes into the dishwasher.

Warmth spread through his chest as he placed the silverware in the dishwasher. He couldn’t help himself from humming a little as they worked. After years on his own, he was home. She felt like his home more than his actual home and family did.

He wanted to stay and hang out with Nicole all day, but it was time for him to leave. Nicole walked him to the door, and he gave her a kiss that curled both their toes. “I’ll see you soon,” he said, his voice filled with promises.
