“I don’t know what to say.” Kian swiped at a tear trickling down his cheek. “Thank you all so much.”

“Oh honey,” Grandma said from behind him. “You never have to thank us, baby.”

“I do,” Kian sniffed. “I didn’t think I would ever find another family after losing my papa. Then Rhys…” His voice caught, and our eyes met. “And then Gabe.” I walked over to him, and he stepped into my arms. My mate took a moment before lifting his head. “All of you. I don’t know how I deserved you.” He shook his head and laughed, swiping at tears in his eyes. “But I don’t care. You’re all mine, and I’m never giving you up.” Kian’s smile was watery. “You’re mine. You’re stuck with me.”

I saw my dad and my grandpa swipe at their eyes.

Finally, the silence was broken when Graham said, “And I’m the favorite ’cause I brought cake.”

Kian beamed at my brother. “Definitely.”

For the next hour or so, Kian made sure to speak with each of my brothers, my papa, dad, grandpa, and grandma. I loved the happy look in his eyes. And I knew my family could never replace the one he lost. My heart broke every time I saw him standing by the urn that now took pride of place in our living room, telling them about his life. All I could do was thank them for giving me Kian. And hope that they thought I was good enough for him.

There was clapping, and I looked over and saw Rhys standing in front of the TV. He didn’t stop till he had everyone’s attention.

“Now that everyone has chatted and stuffed their faces, it’s time to get to the opening of the presents.”

“You guys have already bought so much.” Kian looked around the room.

“There’s no such thing,” Grandma said as she got on her feet and grabbed the first gift she could get her hands on and placed it in Kian’s lap.

For the next hour or so, Kian opened presents. Even my brothers, and Papa and Grandpa oohed and aahed at everything he held up.

We got a lot of boxes of diapers and baskets filled with baby bath wash, shampoo, and lotions. A lot of bodysuits because apparently, we couldn’t have enough.

The smile on Kian’s face got bigger and bigger, and I loved seeing it.

A lot of the clothes were given in pairs. To be honest, there were a lot of matching outfits. Our kids would probably never have to repeat clothes. Although I would bet, just like he had already with all the other gifts we’d received, some would find their way to the omega house.

Like I needed more reasons to fall for Kian.

Once Kian yawned for the fifth time, everyone told me to get him home. They promised to deliver all the presents.

When I tucked Kian in bed, he whispered, “I really wish my papa and daddy got a chance to meet all of you.” He yawned. “They would have loved you so much.”

I sighed and kissed him on his forehead. “I love you so much, Kian.”

“Babe.”I was being shaken awake. “I need the bathroom.”

I’d been so attuned to Kian, I was up in a moment and on his side of the bed, helping him up. He took a step. “Oh no, I peed myself,” he cried.

“It’s okay, baby,” I soothed him. “It’s okay.”

I frowned when I realized the back of the pajama pants he wore was soaked too.

“I think your water broke, baby.”

“What!” Kian gasped. “But I didn’t feel it.”

“I think the soaked pants are kind of a dead giveaway,” I pointed out.

“We still have over a week,” Kian reminded me.

“Well, I guess the babies aren’t very good with the whole time thing yet.”

I lowered him back to the bed. “I’ll go get you a change of clothes, baby,” I said.
