“Hmm, you missed that already. It’s May 31st.” Nickolas replied.
“I don’t even know how old you are,” Jai said, embarrassed by the admission.
“I just turned thirty-three,” Nickolas replied, placing a quick kiss on Jai’s nose. “But if we are going to continue talking, perhaps we should take a seat.”
Jai couldn’t help being embarrassed when Nickolas looked around at his apartment. It was probably the size of his office. If not smaller. It was just a studio, and the only sitting area was his bed, which was still a bed at the moment. He hadn’t changed it back to a sofa, but thankfully, at least it was made.
As if Jai needed a clearer indication of their different stations in life. His apartment screamed it.
“I can see the only place to sit is the bed, and as much as I want to keep getting to know you, if I have you on that bed, we will be having sex,” Nickolas said honestly, gazing into Jai’s eyes like he was asking permission.
Jai nodded. Why put off the inevitable? The alpha didn’t mind them getting to know each other that was enough for now.
“Bed, Please.” Jai murmured and squealed as his alpha picked him up like he weighed nothing.
