She got excited in my arms and clapped her hands together. “Yes, I do. I say we start by starving him out. This is where y’all will come in.” She pointed to Jah. “I was thinking the Reapers can help to cut off his supply lines. No one buys shit from him or supports his businesses. Hell, no one should even protect him.”

The more she talked, the harder my dick became. Fuck... I didn’t know Nuri had this in her, but her love was ferocious, so I shouldn’t have expected anything less from my little Cancer. She was soft but my baby was fierce too. Though people tried many times to break her, she still stood tall.

Jah pulled out a jug of milk and set it on the counter. “Are you a doula or a criminal mastermind?” he asked her with a cocked brow.

We all chuckled at that.

Nuri turned to him and boldly said, “I am whatever I need to be for the people I love. Zero wants to take everything we have, and I’m not going to let him have anything else,” she scoffed. “And not to mention, he didn’t even ask nicely. Fuck him.”

Jah and I nearly fell over laughing at that.

Nuri flipped us off before continuing. “Anyway, after we starve him, I think we apply pressure from the inside by letting everyone know how broke he is. Once his workers realize he can’t pay them, they will flip.”

Jah nodded as he began to fix himself a bowl of cereal. “Yeah, ain’t nobody working for free.”

Nuri nodded too eagerly. “Right... and the last phase is the chokehold.” She paused for dramatic flair.

Jah shook his head. “Lord, now it makes sense why the two of you work so well. Y’all are both crazy ass fuck.”

I began massaging Nuri’s ass cheeks because all this talk of starvation, pressure, and chokeholds had my dick on brick. If Jah wasn’t in here, I would’ve been hitting her juicy pussy from the back while she told me her master plan.

Nuri giggled. “Anyway, he doesn’t have money, but we have plenty. I say we buy up all his shit. Properties, businesses, people... it doesn’t matter. Whatever his hands are on, that’s what we touch. He wanted to take from us to feed himself, sonow we’re going to take from him to make sure our families eat for generations to come.”

Jah whistled as he stuffed his face with cereal. “You’re a cold bitch, Nuri.” He felt me glaring at him and added on, “Respectfully,” at the end.

I hugged Nuri to my body. “Thank you, Legacy. You’ve just proven why I call you that. You are your ancestors’ greatest creation and hope.” I began kissing her shoulder. She moaned in front of me.

“Man, y’all nasty ass fuck. Y’all could at least take that shit upstairs to your room.” I heard Jah’s spoon clink against his bowl as he picked it up and walked away.

Now that we were alone, I allowed my hands to start roaming over Nuri’s soft frame.

“I want you right now,” I confessed.

“Okay,” she obliged in a sweet voice.

I pulled my dick from my sweatpants as Nuri slid her bedtime shorts off. I leaned her body slightly forward at an angle before easing my tip inside of her. She instantly wrapped around me like a warm and wet glove. My hands went to her hips as I began drilling her shit. I was sure everyone in the house could hear us, and I couldn’t care less.

The fucking plan she’d put together was going to put an end to all this shit. Nobody was gonna be brave enough to step to us after this was set into motion. The excitement of what was to come coupled with how good Nuri fucking felt had me coating her insides within minutes. The way she was convulsing told me that I’d chosen the right angle to ensure she’d gotten hers too. I kissed her back softly as she collapsed into my arms.

“We’re going to show him who’s the real king of Prosper Ave,” she declared through her pants. I smiled and then wrapped my arms around her because she was so fucking right.

As planned, we put the Reapers to work. Them niggas were fucking shit up and ensuring that Zero had no one on his side. Being able to prove he didn’t have bread like he portrayed made dismantling his crew so easy that we got that handled within a day. His traps were drier than ever before. After the way we’d slain shit on the south side, it wasn’t surprising when those niggas started copping pleas for peace. We never had beef in the first place, so when they came to us, we accepted. Spreading fear and violence all over the city was never our goal. But if you fucked with us, we were willing to take it there, and we didn’t know how to chill. Now, we all called them the Southside Soft Serves because there wasn’t a drop of Souljah in them boys.

I was finally learning the weight of the St. James’ name. The way Nuri’s people were seizing Zero’s properties was making my head spin. I was expecting things to take some time, but he was so deep in the red that the banks were happy to settle with whatever was offered. My baby was a fucking whale, and I loved how she didn’t burn bridges with the people her parents introduced her to. If it were up to her bitch ass brother, none of this would’ve been possible.

We were having conversations about ways we could use our money to build up my community. Nuri was on board for anything and everything. She was such a humanitarian that I left a lot of the planning up to her and Jiah. I knew we were going to rebuild the big house and turn it into a children’s home for abandoned children and teens. That cause was special to myheart and would likely be the one project I fully invested in to make sure it happened and served its purpose.

Today I was paying Zero a visit. His men were singing like canaries, so when the name of his motel was dropped, I was on that. Jah was in the passenger seat with Lazer in the back, rolling a blunt. Jah was rapping “Who Want Smoke” while cleaning his gun. That shit was so sparkly I was sure he could see his reflection in the chrome handle.

My eyes were on the road as I nodded my head to the music. I was ready to end all this shit. Being a Reaper requires a lot of effort and energy. I wanted to be pouring that effort and energy into my beautiful wife. I told myself once this visit was over that I was going back to focusing on my family, my music, and building up my community.

Nuri had allowed me to see what our financials truly were. I had never asked before because I didn’t want her to think I was using her, but when she shared that with me, I stared at the screen for the longest. When she said her parents had set them up, she was not lying. The money they were accruing from their oil business alone was enough to buy the fucking planet. Now I finally understood why Zero and her brother were so desperate. I would never understand how he could blow through an inheritance like that in such a short amount of time. Their parents had only been gone for about seven years.

Thankfully, Rylas was gone, and all the assets were protected. Nuri trusted me so much that she made sure I had access to everything. We’d decided to pour a lot of it into the community. Not everything needed to be for profit when you were blessed like that.

It was currently a new moon, so the sky was dark and ominous when I pulled up outside of the ratty motel. Lazer leaned between the front seats with a frown. “Damn, this niggabeen holed up here? I wouldn’t come here even if we were in an apocalypse.”

I snorted as I sat back, accepting the lit blunt he passed to me. I wasn’t even in a rush to head inside. Where was this nigga going? He was so down bad that I wasn’t even sure how he was affording this bullshit. It had to be from a cash stash or something. Inhaling the smoke into my lungs, I allowed my eyes to close.
