“Just be aware that if you decide to go there, we’re not stepping away. You’re welcome to turn the quadruple into a…” I break off and look at my boyfriends. “What’s a five-way called?”

Shane chuckles, and Jace shrugs.

“A quintuple?” Cole says helpfully.

“Yes, that.” I point my beer at him. “But don’t even think of trying to get between us, or I will knock you the fuck out,” I finish on a growl, which is totally not my norm. I can’t help it though. I want this woman, and I don’t want anything threatening that. “And don’t be surprised if that quintuple becomes a sextuple. Now, that is something to aim for.”

He frowns. “She has more boyfriends?”

“Didn’t you notice the way Riku looks at her? I don’t even think he’s realized it yet, but I can’t wait to see what happens there.” Jace’s quick burst of temper is over, and just like that, he’s back to being relaxed. I pull him into my lap and nuzzle into him. I love how he squirms.

Cole and Shane ignore us. “But he works for her,” Cole says, and Shane snorts with laughter.

“So do you.”

Cole sputters and tries to insist he’s not interested, but I do believe the man is trying a little too hard. Next week’s trip to Hawaii is going to be so much fun.

Later, after Cole has left and the three of us have climbed into Shane’s bed, Jace is pinned between the two of us. He and Shane are kissing while I run my hands over his delicious body.

“We’re going to need a bigger bed,” he pants out, pulling away from Shane.

“If you can think about those kinds of things, we aren’t doing a good enough job,” Shane rasps, grabbing his jaw as I reach around and start stroking his cock.

“No, I was just thinking of what it will be like with Jacinta in here too.” Jace groans as Shane shifts down and nibbles on his nipples before moving farther down the bed, removing my hand, and replacing it with his mouth.

I reach up and turn him so his neck is strained back, letting me kiss him while Shane sucks his cock. “Think later,” I tell him before taking his mouth with mine.

Jacinta

Riku and I are up early this morning, arriving back at Dad’s in time for breakfast. He heads to the staff quarters now that I’m safe inside, while I sit and eat with everyone. Nana, Molly, Emma, and Hope pepper me with questions regarding my date while Dad and Poppy quietly discuss something at the other end of the table. I watch them out of the corner of my eye, and whatever they are talking about doesn’t look good. Both are frowning and whispering like they don’t want the rest of us to hear.

“We’re going to follow you over to Willow Castle today,” Emma tells me, drawing my attention back to them.

“Oh, you are? You’re not going to work?” I can’t say I’m not a little surprised since they both take their temporary position so seriously.

They exchange a loving glance. “No, your dad has asked us to move in here, and we’ve accepted it. There’s no point in waiting, so we’re going over to our cottage to start moving things.”

“That’s awesome!” I jump up and give them both hugs. I think they’re both a little surprised, but they return them. “I was going to give him a week before I started nagging him. Now, do we need to arrange a remodel to the master suite of his wing?” I think about what Dad’s side of the house looks like.

“He’s way ahead of you. He’s going to have a wall knocked down and turn the bedroom next to his into a closet for the two of us and the bedroom next to that into a nursery. Since the babies should be close in age, they can share one.” Emma still looks a little shell shocked when she says the wordbabies, and there’s a hint of worry in her voice too.

“Is everything okay?” I ask them, reaching for her hand. “I guess this is all so sudden. It must be a shock to you both.” Emma sighs and shrugs, looking at Nana who instantly clues into the situation.

“Speak freely, my dear. Brad might be my son, but he’s still a man, and we know what idiots they can be.”

“Emma is worried that Brad wouldn’t have asked us to move in if it wasn’t for the babies. She feels like we’re doing much the same as Veronica is to Kai, albeit unintentionally.” Molly grabs Emma’s other hand and gives it a squeeze.

Nana and I exchange a glance before bursting into laughter. The two women look a little pissed, so I hurry to get myself back under control. “Sorry, I’m sorry. I know this is no laughing matter, and you guys have a right to your feelings, but let me tell you something about Dad. He is happier than I have ever seen him before.” The look of disbelief isn’t hard to see on their faces. “No, I promise I’m not lying. Dad puts on a good show, but I swear there has always been this air of sadness to him. I really think he loved Harlow’s mother, and she broke his heart. I didn’t ever think he was going to get over her, but the two of you have managed the impossible. His smiles are full and real, and he is over the moon thrilled with the fact that both of you are pregnant.”

“Brad always wanted a big family. It’s why he adopted all the kids when he was told he wouldn’t have any biological ones. He is capable of so much love, and despite how the pregnancy happened, there is no way he thinks you trapped him. If he thought getting you pregnant was possible, he might have insisted on using protection for your sakes, but if he wasn’t happy, he wouldn’t have asked you to move in.” Nana takes a sip of her coffee, giving them a chance to breathe and hopefully absorb what she said. I, however, jump back in. I made my brothers’ journey to happiness that much harder, and I’ll be damned if I don’t atone for some of that by helping my dad find that too.

“You two are the best thing that’s ever happened to him, and I hope you feel the same way about him.”

“God yes.” Emma’s sigh is wistful and relieved. “I love that man like crazy.”

Molly nods enthusiastically. “Yeah, neither of us thought we’d ever be in a relationship with a man again, but all it took was the right one. And now we’re having babies! I tell you it was a bit of a shock to go from knowing there was no chance of either of us naturally getting pregnant to both of us peeing on a stick and it showing up as positive. But despite it all, I’m thrilled.”
