“We already said our goodbyes before, so we’ll let Jace see you out.” Alex and Shane both give me pecks on the lips before the two of them go back into their living area, leaving me and Jace alone. As soon as they disappear from view, he pushes me against the wall next to the elevator doors and kisses me hard. I groan before wrapping my arms around him and kissing him back. Our tongues wrestle with each other, his familiar taste bringing a fire to my belly that I’d been missing. I hitch a knee over his hip and let him grind against me.
“God, I’ve missed you. I can’t get enough of you,” he mumbles, placing kisses across my cheek and nuzzling my neck.
I run my hands through his hair and yank his head back to my mouth. “More,” I demand, then we’re kissing and grinding again before we both pull back, breathing heavily. His eyes are hooded, and I can feel his chest heaving.
“I won’t be backing down this time, Jacinta. Whatever is going on in your life, we’ll work through it together. No more excuses. I’ve been patient.” His voice is low and husky and dominant, and I shiver with his half threat, half promise.
“No, you’re right. No more excuses. I want this. I want it all,” I tell him. “But let’s not rush it. I want to do all the coupley things with you, all of you—dates and phone calls and text messages. Let’s not skip all the fun things too.”
He runs a hand through his hair and steps back, his sweats tenting with his hard dick. “And making out! Don’t forget the making out. Maybe you and I can grab a movie this week?”
I frown and think about being out in public. “What about if we do it in Dad’s theater room?” I suggest, and he nods, his eyes shining with understanding.
“Yeah, that sounds awesome. I can’t wait. I’ll bring all the snacks. This is awesome!” He does a little shimmy. “Once I tell the guys, you better watch out, because we are about to woo the shit out of you.” He grins and places a kiss on my hand before I step inside the waiting elevator.
Him dancing across the foyer is the last thing I see before the doors close. A huge grin is on my face, and I do a little shimmy myself.
Bring on the wooing.

Alex
We leave Jace to get his sugar, heading back to where we left Cole. While Shane takes a seat, I go over to the fridge where I pull out another round of beer for us all. Popping the lids, I dance over to the guys, handing one to Cole first, then to my boyfriend, followed by a kiss, before I flop down on the end of the long sectional and put my feet up next to me.
Shane chuckles at me. “You’re in a good mood,” Shane says before taking a sip of his beer.
Jace returns with a goofy smile on his face, and I can’t say I don’t blame him. Jacinta Summers really packs a punch.
“Of course I am! A beautiful woman is agreeing to spend time with us and see where this relationship goes.”
Cole’s quiet in his seat, but the scowl on his face speaks louder than any words could. He leans forward. “So you’re telling me you’re asking her to be in a relationship with all three of you?”
“Yeah, do you have a problem with that?” Jace asks defensively, and the answer doesn’t make Cole any more relaxed. He stiffens up, and I turn my head a little to the side, trying to hide my smirk. I knew he was interested in her. We just need him to wrap his head around being in an unconventional relationship.
“No, I guess not. I honestly thought she was trying to come between the three of you,” he admits, leaning back again and running his free hand through his hair.
“I can see how you might think that.” Shane really is the most levelheaded of us, so it’s a good thing he’s jumping into this conversation. “And I can’t deny that women haven’t tried that in the past, but Jacinta is well aware that this is an ‘as well as’ situation and not an ‘instead of’ situation. A lot of people don’t understand that.”
“Yeah, I can see how that might happen.”
“And you don’t have a problem with the three of us in a relationship, do you?” I gesture to my two partners, and he immediately shakes his head.
“Not at all.”
“Well, what’s one more?” I shrug, and I can see all this new information running through his head. “You know her brothers are in a relationship with one woman. So why shouldn’t she be allowed to have the same thing?”
“No, I guess I’m just surprised you’d choose her. She seems so flighty and superficial. I never would have thought she would go for something where she’s not the center of attention.”
“Bullshit,” Jace snaps and stands up. “You’ve been reading tabloids and made your opinions of Jacinta on what you’ve read instead of taking the time to get to know her on a personal level.”
My eyes widen as our laid-back country boy pokes his fingers in Cole’s direction. “Shame on you. You should know all of that is biased. Shit, it’s your job to do that kind of thing. Jacinta Summers is the most kind, loving, and genuine woman I know. She generally cares what you have to say. Yeah, she’s made mistakes, but she owns up to the fact that what she did to Harlow was horrible. She’s only human, and she has her own insecurities like the rest of us.”
“Whoa, okay.” Cole puts down his bottle and holds his hands up. “I’m sorry, man. You’re right. I did let my judgment get clouded. I apologize.”
“Hmm, I think maybe Jacinta has caught your interest. I think you can see that all is not as you thought it was, and I think you’re intrigued.” I rest my chin on my fist and watch as the guy squirms ever so slightly.
“She certainly is one hell of a woman. I wouldn’t blame you for being interested,” Shane tells him, smiling.
