Randall’s face turned white, and she had him then. He may try to pretend like he was in charge, but he wasn’t in charge of anything. He couldn’t even handle his own reactions. She saw him dancing in her hands, and Page couldn’t help the excitement that came over her. It was more than she could focus on.
He no longer fought her when she went for his pants and started to pull them down. He was so hard and big, just like she remembered. Page’s knees were pressed together, her desire rising as she slipped him into her mouth. Randall growled at her, the sound so damn hot. Page couldn’t help the way he made her feel, nor did she want to. Every part of her was trying to make him feel as good as she’d felt. His fingers had been amazing, so when he was making most of the same sounds, Page knew to go faster. Soon, he was filling her mouth with his hot seed.
Page wasn’t nearly satisfied. She was dripping wet and dying for it. All she could think about was him inside of her, but she knew that it wasn’t going to happen, not yet.
Instead, they laid together until the kids woke them up. Page wished that they were ready for more, but Randall was right. One day soon that would be different, and Page couldn’t wait for that time. She was begging for it and needed him in more ways than one. All she could think about was how good he felt and sounded when he was getting off. It was like music to her ears.
They lay together that evening and neither one of them talked about what more could happen between them. Page knew that it was going to take time, Randall had been right. She had just had the babies, which meant that she hadn’t even healed yet. It was hard to admit that she wasn’t ready for him, when she so clearly was. It was impossible for her to deny how badly she wanted him but knew that it wouldn’t be long until they could be together again. Then, they would be able to really focus on what happened next.
“Why don’t we go for a picnic?”
Page agreed that it sounded like a good idea. It was going to be work with all the kids, but she was willing to get out some. Between the two of them, they’d been sticking close to home too much. Page didn’t like to feel afraid, but she was. She doubted that the feeling was going to go away anytime soon. She was worried about the right things, and it wasn’t like she could hold it too much longer.
“Sounds great, Randall. It sounds like the perfect way to spend the afternoon.”
Chapter 26
Randall
Randall’s sister came over to watch the kids and the couple finally went out for the first time since being back together. Page was quiet, she knew what was coming and Randall needed to pull himself together. It was bad enough that he wasn’t able to give to Page what she deserved. Randall knew that the evening was going to have to be perfect. There was so much riding on it.
“Why are you shaking?” Page innocently asked. Randall was shaking because he was in so much need. It was all he could think about, and the more he tried to focus on what was going on, the more impossible it was.
“It has been a long time, Page. I have all these plans for us, but I can’t think straight.”
Page grinned and asked him what the plans were.
“I thought that we’d go out, have some drink and dinner first.”
Page nodded her head and asked what else was planned. Randall swallowed hard and said that he had a room at a local hotel that had a nice suite.
“What are we going to do there?” Page asked, again with this innocent look on her face that drove him wild. Randall triedto focus on something other than the need he had, but it was impossible. She was all that he wanted.
“You know what we are going to do, Page. Do you really want me to say it out loud?”
Randall wasn’t going to say anything, but he wanted Page to say it. She finally said something, wondering why they had to wait at all. That question caught his attention, and Randall wondered the same thing. He didn’t want to stop what was happening between them. He tried his best to focus on anything else, but it really was impossible.
“You don’t want to get dinner?”
Page agreed that she didn’t. “I mean, we only have a few hours and I think it would be a waste to do anything else but be with each other, don’t you think?”
Randall grinned. “So what is it that you want to do?”
Page sighed. “You know what I want to do. It’s obvious, isn’t it?”
Randall knew what she wanted, but he was nervous, and he wanted to make sure that she was thinking along the same lines as he was. He would be embarrassed if she wasn’t.
“I was thinking that we should be together and skip all the rest. Allie is going to be there until ten, so that means we can be together in bed all that time. I think that is the best way to spend our time, don’t you?”
Randall agreed with a wholehearted smile. She was even better than he could have imagined, and it was one of those times where he knew that she was perfect. It was hard to imagine what his life would be like without her, even though it was a mess with her. Randall knew that he would never want anything to be the same again. He was still trying to work out why he wasso smitten with her. He didn’t think that he would ever get sick of her. The way she was always thinking along the same lines as him told him that Page was meant to be his. It was nice to know that what he was doing was all for a reason.
“So, you want to go to the hotel now?”
Page agreed and then said if he didn’t hurry, she was going to start without him. Randall didn’t know what that meant, but she showed him when he wanted to know. Her eyes were closed, lips pursed, and her hand went between her legs. Randall’s attention was on the fingers rubbing on top of her clothes. Randall told her to put her hands in her panties, he wanted to see how wet she was. He quickly learned that she was soaked, in the most tempting ways.
They drove straight to the hotel and didn’t even stop to get a bite to eat. Page was thrilled with how desperate he was. She was desperate too, so it was nice that she wasn’t the only one trembling. Randall wanted her bad, his hands were moving in constant motion, like he wasn’t able to keep himself still. Page finally took his hand and set it in between her legs. By the time they got to the place, she was ready to come unglued.
Getting the key and working through the set up was hard. Page was dying there, standing all wet and ready, while the guy at the computer clacked the keys. He seemed to go way too slow, and she wanted to rush him along, but Page didn’t think that it was going to help anything. It wasn’t like the guy cared that she was wet and wanted to get it on with Randall. The receptionist was unbothered by it all.
