Justice was nervous, which made Allie very happy. She started to think about the night before and what they had done together. If she was honest with herself, Allie wanted to do it again. Repeatedly. She wondered if he had thought about all the scenarios that she had like the pregnancy. He had to know that's what he had done. With shifters, pregnancy was more of a possibility. It was more like an inevitability, and Allie wasn’t sure how she felt about it. What did he think of it? Was he thinking about it at all?

It also came to her attention that she had never seen Justice shifted. The soldiers did it away from the village when they were attacking or defending the pack. It was usually when they were out on the perimeter that everyone showed their true self. At the same time, she wondered if he had seen her before. Not very often was she able to just run free or do what she wanted to. She mainly did it to release her tension, like she was doing then. Being able to spend time alone with Justice was pure bonus.

As soon as they got outside though, Justice was immediately trying to show her how mad he was. Allie didn't get it. There was really no reason for him to be mad. She hadn't said anything that was too far out of the way. It wasn’t like she had mentioned them having sex in front of Jeff. She had just simply asked to go outside. Justice was the one acting strange, and Allie wanted to know what was going on.

“What are you even upset about?” she finally asked, just because his obvious anger was pissing her off. What had she done to him, besides give him everything she had?

Justice shrugged like he didn't know what she was referring to, but Allie wasn't going to take that as an answer. She wasn’t going to let him treat her differently after what had happened between them. She wanted the reason why. Allie had foolishly thought that the two of them might find themselves together again but now she wondered if that was fanciful thinking instead. Was he one of those guys that got what they wanted and then didn’t want to have anything to do with her?

“I'm not mad at you or anyone else, Allie. This is just a jacked-up situation and the two of us being alone together isn't going to make it easier. You know that. You know how your brother is. Think about what happened with Gabriel, your other lover.”

Allie didn’t like the last dig. She just scoffed at him, “You know damn well that is not true. And my brother has decided to let him go. Nothing came up when he was questioned for days.”

“He tortured his best friend.” Justice said it like it was an accusation, but it wasn’t like Allie had anything to do with it. She had tried to tell her brother that what he was thinking was wrong, but he didn't want to hear it.

“I told you and him that nothing was going on with Gabriel. The truth is that we were seen kissing, and my brother thought that it was him, because I was seen with him next. I could have told the truth, and you would be in the same situation, but I wonder what would have happened when you were asked in the same way?” That was a scenario that Allie had played in her head one too many times, and she never did like the answer that she got back.

Justice looked uncomfortable for a moment, like he had forgotten or something. “Well, I'm glad that you didn't rat me out, but I didn't kiss you, you kissed me.”

Allie smiled. “Is that right? Are you going to say that I took advantage of you at night as well? Are you going to say that you didn't want me to ride you?”

Justice blew out his breath loudly and gave Allie a frustrated look that matched his sound. “You know damn well that I want you, Allie. I just didn't think that it was real. I really thought that it was a dream.”

“Fine, let's leave it that way.” She shifted into her true form, done talking. She didn't look back once, and she tore off toward the deep woods. For once, she needed to feel the wind in her fur and the only way that was going to happen was to be her true self. Why was Justice’s refusal to be truthful with her so hard? Did she worry that it was true, that he didn't need her like she needed him?

Chapter 13

Justice

Justice had seen her run before, but never like she did then. Allie’s smile was bright, she looked free, and even though she was no longer in her human form, she was just as beautiful to him. He only desired her more, seeing her like that. It was a more intimate view of her, and he was quickly running next to her.

She looked back at him, smiling on her animal face, but the look in her eyes was fundamental. She wanted him and while he had mentioned that it was all on her, Justice didn’t want that to be the case. He needed her desperately. When they got to the top of the mountain, far out of sight from everyone and everything, Justice couldn’t help but knock her down. He was beside her, racing next to her, then he bumped her and made her go sideways.

Allie sprawled on the ground, the momentum making her crash. She shifted to her human form, asking him what he was doing, but Justice didn’t answer. He wanted there to be a moment that he initiated. He didn’t like the fact that she was the one that had initiated everything.

When she started to get up, Justice stopped her, moving over the top of her. They kissed and this time he was definitely the one that started it. Allie mewed against him, her body softened up and molded up against every inch of Justice. He tried his best to focus on anything else, but there was no way that he could.

This way, touching her, his body grinding against her at his own choosing, was far different than the last time they’d been together. Not only that, but he was able to let her scream out loudly when he slammed into her as hard as he could. Justice heard her sounds of pleasure, and he couldn’t help feeling how good it was. Allie whimpered as he pushed deep, and he gave her a minute to get used to his throbbing need before he started to move inside of her.

Justice was in heaven and not only was every inch of her soaked for his arrival, but the sounds that were coming out of her were some of the hottest that he’d ever heard. Justice didn’t realize before what he was missing when he had kissed her and silenced it all. He wished now that he hadn’t done that. Now that he knew what he was missing, Justice didn’t think he was ever going to be able to silence her again. For that moment, he almost didn’t care who heard them. He was in the zone and never wanted to leave her. Only when she started to squeeze him desperately, making the sounds that were hard to miss, did Justice finally fill her deep.

He wanted to go longer, but it had all felt too good. He wanted to kick himself for what happened, but Allie was lying underneath him in a daze. It was hard to be mad for long that it hadn’t gone as he wanted, when Allie was laid out in such a way. She had this beautiful smile on her face that she couldn’t stop sending his way. Justice looked at her and knew that he was willing to do too much for her. They both had most of their clothes on.

Allie sighed and when he laid down next to her, she went immediately into his arms. They were not arguing or even talking now, but the little tiff that they’d had before was over. Allie wasn’t quite sure what was wrong with Justice before, but he seemed to be in a better mood. She said as much and Justice said that he was in a good mood. He didn’t mention what he had overheard and the jealousy that ran through him. Justice didn’t see any reason for her to know any of that.

“You’re quiet,” Allie commented.

Justice was. He was in his head and again he was worried that she was going to change her mind and the two of them were going to go their separate ways. Justice wasn’t going to be able to do that. He already knew that he was going to be uncapable of leaving her. He had fallen for her. Maybe it was their time together intimately or whatever it was, he couldn’t be sure, but he wanted more.

As he thought that, his desire started to get hard again and Allie’s hand touched him slightly. He wasn’t prepared for it, because she was so inexperienced, but the way her hand went to his cock and tugged on it was amazing. Allie wasn’t able to do more than touch him a few times before Justice was dodging her hand. He was so far into it already that they couldn’t even play. He wanted her again and this time it was like the first. He set her on top of him, but the way that Allie rode him was different.

The second time, Allie knew what she was doing more. She closed her eyes and rode him slow and deep. Justice tried his best to hold onto her as much as he could, but it was impossible. He was so turned on and when he held her hips and made her take all of him, Justice wasn’t able to say or do more than call out. Her name was on his lips, forever in his mind.

Allie’s slim body was revealed as he pushed the clothes still on her off. She gasped as he pulled her body down and took one of the tantalizing tips of her nipples into his mouth. He sucked hard, loving the jerk that her body made and the sound that ran from her throat. Justice was in heaven, his body quickly taking over where she wasn’t suiting him. Justice was balls deep, holding himself in to throb and take the time to feel every inch of her. Justice was more turned on than he had been in his whole life. He had never known bliss like he did with Allie. Even though she wasn’t his first, Justice was quickly thinking about her as his only. She was the only woman that he had ever loved.

Thoughts of love and desire took over and he filled her full, again, quicker than he would have liked. Justice was sure that there was something going on between them, but he wasn’t going to worry about it. All he was worried about was Allie, being inside of her and knowing that she was his forever.

That thought made him lose it. He knew that it was the wrong thing to think, knew that it wasn’t possible, but damned if he didn’t like it for just a moment. Justice was sure that he wasn’t the only one that was smitten, but the impossibility of it hit before anything else.
