I looked at him and smiled. He was saying something, but I couldn’t even pay attention because I was too lost in his handsome face.
I couldn’t hide my smile. I could sit there all day just watching him, no matter what he was saying.
As he continued to talk, I leaned my elbow on the bar top and rested my chin in my palm. My eyes outlined the shape of his lips as they moved perfectly with each word he spoke.
They then moved to his Adam’s apple, watching the way it bounced in his thick neck, so perfectly. I felt a tingle in my stomach.
I noticed some people approaching, but my attention was stuck on this beautiful specimen of a man before me. I smiled at the way he took another sip of his drink.
“Baby,” he suddenly said, catching me off guard. I sat there stunned, wondering if I was dreaming about this man calling me his baby. He was looking in my direction, so I knew he had to be talking to me. I slowly stood to my feet to answer him, but someone whizzing past caught my eye.
“Hey,” Kairi appeared and walked into his waiting embrace. She sat on his knee, and the smile on his face said it all.
I stood and had to watch as they kissed and loved on each other right in my face.
“Come on, I booked a couple’s massage for us,” Havoc said, standing up and taking her hand.
But I never got to tell him what I had to say!
“Bye, Trini,” Kairi smiled and waved at me.
Havoc just gave me a head nod, too wrapped up in his new wife to even give me a proper goodbye. That was the first time since we knew each other that he didn’t tell me bye properly, and it stung. All I could do was stand there and watch them leave together. I slumped back on my stool and pushed my plate away from me, no longer having an appetite.
The bartender looked at me— I could see the pity shining in his eyes.
“Make me a drink, and make sure it’s strong,” I said.
A few hours later, and I was still at the bar ordering drink after drink, hoping it would numb this pain that just wouldn’t go away. The image of Havoc walking away from me was still etched into my mind, no matter how much liquor I drank. What hurt me the most was that he never came back. That was the only time I saw him and Kairi for the rest of the day.
I poured the last of my drink into my mouth, put the glass down, and staggered up to my feet. My head was spinning as I made my way through the resort and to the elevators. A couple was stepping off as I walked on, and I found myself cutting my eyes at them. Just seeing them put a sour taste in my mouth. I had to laugh at myself, knowing that Havoc really had me in my feelings like this.
When I finally made it up to my floor, I stepped off and stomped toward my room, still feeling pissed off about the situation.
On my way, I looked behind me, and my eyes landed on Shakur’s door at the end of the hallway. I suddenly stopped walking and turned back to look at it.
Havoc could hurt me, so I could hurt him back!
I knew his heart would break knowing I slept with Shakur again, but it serves him right. I was gonna make him wish he didn’t skip me.
With a smile on my face, I spun on my heels and swayed my hips to his door. My pussy started jumping at the anticipation. Shakur definitely knew how to work that thing he was walking around with.
A few hours of sex will definitely put me in a better mood,I thought as I finally made it to his door. If nothing else could take my mind off Havoc, I knew that Shakur could—even if it was for only a moment.
We were all leaving tomorrow anyway, before they went off for their own honeymoon, so tonight was all I needed.
I looked down and adjusted my breasts in my top, remembering how he couldn’t keep his hands or mouth off them last night.
I cleared my throat and knocked on the door. After a few moments, he opened it and looked at me.
“Hey Shakur,” I cooed sexily and batted my eyes at him.
He had this stone-cold look on his face for some reason and realized that he probably needed some sex just as much as I did.
“What you doing here?” he asked in a rough tone, making me freeze.
“Why are you being so cold? I came to see you,” I said and laughed nervously.
Shakur didn’t say anything and continued to look at me with a deep frown on his face before he sighed.
