He lies over me, his body pressed to mine, a fuzzy outline in the dark. Should I turn the lamp on so I can see his gorgeous green eyes and beautiful face? I’d better not. His lips meet mine in a scorching kiss as he slides his dick over mine. Frotting. The word comes back to me, along with the memory of that night on the jetty at the lake. I put my hands on his arse cheeks and squeeze gently as I thrust my hips to meet his. The friction of his hard dick against mine is intense and wonderful. I need him so badly my head spins. I wrap my arms around him and roll us so he’s on his back, and I’m grinding against him hard and fast. We gasp and kiss, our tongues doing battle as much as caressing. He rakes his nails across my back, creating a light, tickling sensation that makes me want him more. My feverish rutting pushes all the confusing thoughts out of my head. Nothing matters but him, me, our naked, intertwined bodies, and the needy ache in my groin.

I come too fast, but so does he. We grunt and gasp through our orgasms, our cum mixing on our stomachs and cocks. I lie panting, my heart thundering against his chest. All my confusing thoughts come tumbling back in.

“Do you think you can sleep now?” Kian asks in a sweet, sleepy voice.

I kiss his forehead. I keep my lips against his skin as I speak. “Yes,” I lie. “And so should you.”

“I’m halfway there already.”

“I can tell.” I move my weight off him, but he tightens his grip.

“Stay.”

“That can’t be comfortable.”

“It is.”

I doubt that, but I can’t refuse the needy note in his voice. So I stay where I am, stroking his hair and kissing his forehead as his heart rate steadies and his breathing slows.

“This is perfect,” he whispers, long after I was sure he was asleep. He might be. His voice has a hazy, faraway quality to it. His words are slightly slurred.

“What is?” I ask.

“You. Me. This.”

My heart stutters. “What do you mean?”

He doesn’t reply. Was he talking in his sleep?

I stay where I am for a while longer, then roll off him and onto my back. He immediately snuggles up to me, curling his body around mine and looping his arm over my chest.

“Kian?”

No response.

I smile at the darkness, close my eyes, and focus on his breathing and the softness of his skin against mine. His drowsy words play in a loop in my head. This is perfect. It is. But it’s also temporary and will eventually come to an end.

Chapter14

Kian

It’s Friday. I’m on my way to meet a couple of friends for a drink. Saturday is our main night on the town, but as I haven’t made it the last few weekends, Aria and Klara have summoned me to a pub this evening. I think it’s their way of staging an intervention or at least finding out why I haven’t been around much recently.

I met Aria when we were undergrads in Lancaster via the fencing society. Neither of us lasted long in it, but we remained friends, especially after we learned we were both from Leeds. She had a car, so whenever she went home for the weekend or the holidays, I hitched a ride.

My phone buzzes with a text.

Jett:Are you free?

I should say no. I want to see Jett, but it’s not fair to let my friends down again. Maybe I can please them all? Have a drink with Aria and Klara and then go and see Jett. Yeah, that will work.

Me:I will be in an hour or so. What did you have in mind?

Jett:Something to destress?

Me:Bad day?

Jett:Yeah. I’ll explain when you get here.
