"Hendrix is right. You wouldn't have to do much, and it would be relaxing. You'd lie down, and I would drip hot wax over your body. As he said, you can keep as many clothes on as you want. I could drip wax onto your hands and feet if that’s what you want. Or over your back.”
“What does it feel like?”
“It's like having a massage. Only instead of deep pressure, it's the warmth that will relax your muscles. Stefan is the real expert. He'll be there to ensure I don't do anything wrong."
"Wrong?"
"I wouldn't want to hurt you accidentally.”
“Would the wax be that hot?”
“In theory no. But I could hurt you if I dripped too much wax onto the same spot. Stefan will make sure I don't do that. It's why I want him to supervise me before I do it alone on anyone."
"You've got plans to hook up with someone?" There's an odd wobble to Callan's voice.
"No. No plans at all." I don't want to make plans to hook up with anyone either, not while Callan is here. "I just want to be prepared, that's all.”
"That makes sense."
"Hendrix was just messing around. I can ask him to be my sub, or maybe Theo, or Fraser when he and Beau get home from their honeymoon.”
“What about Quinn?” Callan’s cheeks go red. “I assumed that, as he’s dating Stefan, he would be a sub too.”
“He is, but he wouldn’t be a good person to ask.”
"Why not?"
“When he gets too relaxed, he falls asleep. If he’s asleep, he can't tell me if the wax is too hot. It wouldn't be safe."
Callan tilts his head. “You didn't seem keen on doing it with Hendrix."
I shrug. "Hendrix likes winding people up. I'm not sure I would be relaxed enough to be his Dom, even for a single wax play session.”
Callan nods.
"Your turn,” I say.
"My turn?"
"You were going to tell me what you would call the baby."
"I don't have a clue."
"Do you want to go with an Irish name?"
"I suppose so. But I'm not married to the idea. I just want something that suits him."
I chuckle. "Does he have much of a personality yet?"
"I guess not."
"What about Liam?"
Callan shakes his head. "It's nice, but I don't love it."
"Rhian? I think it means king or something."
