surprising burst of rage. “You’re part of the Order? What the hell, were you hunting Frankie?”
“Yes,” Snod replied shortly.
“Oh, my dude,” Lorenzo chuckled, standing up to his feet and cracking his knuckles. “You’re toast. I
don’t care how good your omelet is, I’m not going to let you touch my best freakin’ friend—”
“It’s fine now!” Frankie insisted, hurrying to the door to answer it, finding a delivery man with a giant

Snod was on his feet, lunging forward as he snarled furiously, “Liar!”
“I’m not lying, dude!” Lorenzo argued passionately, ducking down behind Frankie. “I was just gonna,
you know, wave the fork at you in a very threatening manner! I wasn’t actually gonna do anything, you
fuckin’ whacko!”
Frankie grabbed Snod around his middle, holding him firmly in place and not allowing him to move.
“Obe,” he soothed firmly, “we can fix this. It’s not a big deal! It was just an accident!”
“Yeah! How about we talk about the fact that you admitted to trying to kill Frankie?” Lorenzo piped
