“You’re the best fiancée ever, you know that?”

“Nah, just the most patient,” I tease, and he grins, leaning in for a kiss.

“Oi!” Dingo calls from across the room. “Stop tongue-fucking and come take some shots.”

We laugh and separate, and Colt gives me one last look, one last promise, before we join the chaos.

The tequila burns like hellfire going down, and I already know that this night’s going to be one for the books.

Guests start pouring in. Our parents, Colt’s mum, Kira, a few of the Slayettes, minus one former Slayette I’ll never invite again. No Jessi.Thank God.

Joseph and Danny arrive, followed by Brad and a few of the Dragon’s Lair crew. Support staff. Friends. Roadies. It’s turning into a proper party.

Finally, the stretch Hummers pull up outside, and the noise level triples.

Colt finds me, kisses me hard, and then again, softer. “Have a good night,” he says.

“Go get drunk. And call me onlyifyou need to.”

He grins, and just like that, the wild night begins.

Johnny barrels in, already half-drunk, tugging on Colt’s arm like an overexcited puppy. “C’mon, man, we gotta go. Drinks are waiting.”

I laugh as Colt throws me one last look over his shoulder.

Have fun,I mouth, and he smiles before Johnny drags him out of the kitchen and down the hallway toward the front door.

Moments later, all the guys, except Joseph and Danny, have piled into the stretch Hummers and disappeared into the night.

That leaves just us ladies, Joseph, and Danny.

I walk over to Joseph, slipping my arm around his waist. “Feels like I haven’t seen you in forever.”

“I know,” he says, pulling me into a side hug. “I miss that gorgeous face and my little Yorkie-poo. Honestly, not sure who I miss more.”

I scoff, slapping his chest playfully. “Rude.”

“I’m kidding!” He laughs. “How are you, though? You seem…” He tips his head to the side. “Good. Really good.”

Before I can answer, Danny strolls over with three frozen cocktails in bright neon cups.

“I’m so good,” I say, reaching for a drink. “I’m getting married next Saturday, Anna’s jumping through all the hoops for the baby, my best friends are here, and there are cocktails. Life doesn’t get much better.”

Joseph chuckles. “Well, I have to admit, you look a hell of a lot brighter than you did a few months ago. We were worried, thought you might spiral for good.”

Danny nods, his expression soft. “Yeah. We honestly didn’t know if you and Colt would find your way back to each other.”

Their honesty makes my chest tighten, but I smile through it. “I didn’t either,” I admit. “But I had Princess. I had you guys. And now? I’ve got everything I ever wanted.”

Danny wraps one arm around each of us, pulling us into a warm, squishy group hug. “Damn right you do.”

Soon, the drinks are flowing, the laughter is echoing off the walls, and everyone is sipping out of glittery penis straws as we play Pin the Penis on Chris Hemsworth.

Joseph’s idea, of course.

Sia is up next, blindfolded and already giggling as she wobbles in place, a pink cardboard dick in hand.

I’m absolutely wasted, and loving every second, but even in the chaos, I can’t help but wonder what Colt’s up to. Hopefully, he’s having just as much fun. I’m sure Johnny’s keeping an eye on him.
