“It is.” Andy rolled his eyes. “They’re bothinFrance. Jesus. Didn’t you go to college?”

“Not for long.” Eddie laughed, and Charlie pushed him gently on the shoulder.

“How long are you in town for?”

“Awhile,” Leonidas answered.

“I’m, uhm.” Andy cleared his throat. “I’m going to be leaving for a bit. Next month.”

“Where are you two going?” Brad pushed food around his plate with his fork and looked up at Andy.

“Not us. Just me.”

Brad scrunched his face up and frowned. “What do you mean?”

“I mean he’s not coming. I’m going alone.”

“Where is he going?” Brad asked, his eyes shifting from Andy to Leonidas. “Where are you going?”

Leonidas shrugged in that effortless way he had about himself.“I was going to stay here.”

“Here at the hotel?” Charlie asked.

“I meant down by the lake. I’m renting a cabin there.”

“Sooooo, you came from France to be with Andy, and now he’s leaving to go somewhere and you’re staying here?” Eddie frowned.

“He’ll be back,” Leonidas said softly, covering Andy’s tense hand with his own.

“Alright,” Charlie said, even though his face made it clear he didn’t understand. “And then what?”

“Once he’s back, I’ll be going off a bit, and then…” Leonidas squeezed his hand. “I was hoping he would meet up with me in Mykonos for a little bit.”

“What?”

Andy swallowed. That was…that wasn’t something they’d talked about and he would have been fine not going, not meeting Leonidas’s family, but…

“Yes. If you want, I mean.”

“I want,” he said quickly. “I want.”

“November, then,” Leonidas said, patting Andy’s hand. “We’ll go see my family.”

“What is your family like?” Theo asked.

Leonidas smiled and dipped his chin toward his chest. “They’re…boisterous. I’m the youngest. I have two older sisters.”

“Funny you’re the youngest, you’re nothing like Cameron,” Levi offered.

“Cameron is coddled,” James said, and everyone nodded.

“I wasn’t coddled.” Leonidas laughed. “I was primped and prepared. Growing up with two sisters was a blessing and a curse. Aeliana, she just had a son.”

“Your nephew,” Theo chimed in.

Andy didn’t blink, Theo’s recognition of Leonidas didn’t sting him now the way it had before and he was thankful for that. He really didn’t want to hate his brother’s boyfriend for the rest of his life.

“Yes. Yiorgos.”
