By the time I got up, Hemlock’s annoying chipper voice said, “Better run, the smart one got a head start.”

I took off. I scrambled down the stairs and out the door, but I didn’t see Rykon or Emerald. I looked around frantically for any sign of them as I went closer to the beach. In the distance, I saw a big indent in the sand and I went to it. It was a large boot print. I knew it wasn’t Emerald’s, so it had to be Rykon’s, and I followed them.

I had a hard time because they disappeared with the increasing strength of the waves. I thought I had hit a dead end when I heard a distinct moan, a moan that I was so in tune with I could pick it out in a roaring crowd.

I slowly followed the noise, making sure to remain soundless as I treaded into the water. The noises got louder the closer I got to the edge of the rock.

I hear Rykon cry out loud, “Yes, oh fuck yes. Take me. Fuck me how you want. Take whatever you need from me. I’m yours.”

My chest tightened and my fists clenched as I realized what they were doing, how he was touching her and how she was touching him. The lion of my anger came roaring forward, and I envisioned running in, grabbing him by the neck and tearing him away from her.

I couldn’t hear her response to him as the buzzing in my ears was growing louder. My body was visibly shaking as a pounding in my head started. I know I told them we could further our relationship with her however we choose, but I didn’t intend to walk in on any of it.

As their moans got faster, my mind started running faster. What is he doing to her? How are they positioned? What did she look like with him? Was it different from how she was with me? Those thoughts kept running round and round in my head. My mind warring between rage and curiosity.

Without me even thinking, my fingers curled around the edge and I slowly peeked around with only one eye. I saw her on top of him, riding him like he was a wild stallion, taming it by just working her hips in the right direction. Rykon was sitting, hands back behind him to hold himself up, his fingers turning white with how hard he was gripping the sharp floor, looking up at her like she was a goddess made of darkness and light.

There was a softness on her face that wasn’t present with me. Almost like he was pulling out her emotions with each thrust upward. I saw her bend back a little bit, pushing those gorgeous tits of hers out and my focus zeroed in on her nipples, they were tight and flush, begging for someone to bite them, pinch them, handle them in a way that would make her pussy clench and her cries turn breathless.

I could feel myself getting hard as I was living out a fantasy that I walked through this alcove. Causing them both to pause in shock. Her eyes would feast on me, begging me to make her scream. Begging me to make it hurt while he brought her pleasure.

I found my hand on my cock, choking the tip painfully, envisioning her grabbing it, putting it in her mouth and grazing her teeth down as she licked. Giving me that pain I enjoyed with my pleasure. I started to pump myself as I watched Rykon balance himself on one hand and used his other to rub her clit.

I envisioned myself smacking her ass with every rough rub he was giving her, timing it in a way where she teetered on both edges at all times, until we did it at the same time and she passed out with pleasure.

I heard the sounds of them getting close, not being able to draw this out longer, and I smirked. If she had both of us, there she would have a good long time of feeling blissed out and too exhausted to think about anything that she just learned today.

Where the fuck did that come from? What happened to her just being mine?

I let go of myself and made my way up the rock face, climbing up and out of sight, but still within hearing distance. Rykon took his sweet ass time as I was growing inpatient to jump down and surprise them.

“We need to get back…” Rykon said in a hesitant tone.

I heard her sigh, “Ya. I guess we do.” Then came a shuffling of clothes and footsteps. I heard them splash into the water and start to make their way to the edge. Right as I was about to jump down and surprise them, I heard her voice drift across the wind.

“You go ahead. I need a minute.”

I heard Rykon’s hesitation as he asked, “Are you sure?” She must have nodded because he said, “Okay.” He gave her a kiss and started back to the lighthouse, looking back every once in a while. Well, my plans changed, but in all honesty, I think this was better.

As soon as I knew he couldn’t see me, I made my way down and slowly tried to creep around to not tip Emerald off.

“Why don’t you come out, Ajax?” I stiffened at her voice, not expecting her to know that I was here when I was being so careful, but I guess I should’ve known. The real question now was, how long did she know I was there?

I turned around the corner, making all the noise I wanted, since she already knew I was there. She was looking at the ocean as I turned the corner, watching as the rays from the setting sun were playing with the strands of her hair. The spots where the sun hit almost looked gold while the shadowed strands looked darker than the emerald I have grown obsessed over. My hands jerked at my sides to touch it, run my hands through it and yank on it to make her pay attention to me.

I made my way slowly along the side, not getting in her view that she seemed to need right now. “How long have you known I was there?”

Her head tilted in my direction as her eyes flicked to mine. Eyes that looked like they had clarity, but the red-rimmed evidence was still fresh enough to see. That alone made me want to go on a killing rampage. I wanted to vanquish anything that made her hurt so badly she wanted to cry. It killed me that I had nothing to go after. Nothing to slaughter and lay at her feet.

Her eyebrow raised as surprise filled her eyes. “How long have you been there?”

I gave her a smug smile as I crossed my arms, leaning against the rock wall. I didn’t want to admit to anything as her cheeks flushed. It was so cute and unlike her; I wanted it to last for as long as possible. Then I remembered what brought me here, and I dropped my arms and went to her with one thought on my mind. I needed to show her, prove to her that Rykon didn’t care for her more just because he got to her first.

“It doesn’t matter. My anger and pain doesn’t matter. My possessiveness doesn’t matter. What does matter is that I came. I wanted to be here for you. I didn’t want you to think that just because we found out you’re the royal we’re searching for, that it means I’m going to bow out to that pretty boy prince. I am planning to be right here.” I moved in between her legs, tilting her head up by her chin to make sure she saw my eyes when I said this. “I’m going to still come after your love and affection like it’s my last dying wish. I don’t care what any stuffy nobles have to think or say about it.”

She slowly grabbed the front collar of my shirt, her eyes looking up at me with determination and something close to how I feel for her. I wanted her to say it with all of my soul. I wanted her to tell me those four-letter words to help my heart from coming out of my chest and laying in her hands as an offering.

She pulled me down, her lips hovering over mine as she whispered, “Good.” Then she kissed me. I wasn’t one full of lust and power, the kind I was expecting. It was soft and sensual. I could savor her taste, feel each sweep of her tongue and how soft and full her lips were. It was the kind of kiss that was telling me what I wanted to hear without saying the words.
