I don't know how to interpret this, but my brain latches onto the fact that Seb's never had a Daddy before me. It makes me so fucking happy. And I'll make damn sure I'm his last.

My boy still looks tense, so I step in. I gently pull him back and wrap my arms around him.

"It's okay. He apologized."

"Don't ever joke like that again, or I'll stab you," Seb warns.

Malakai nods, though the grin still lingers. I've got a feeling he's a troublemaker and slightly unhinged. Ryker, on the other hand, sits quietly, sipping his drink and observing like we're his evening entertainment. He's clearly the calm one in the group.

"Alright," Seb says, cheerful again. "We need drinks to welcome Daddy into the club!"

Almost on cue, the bartender appears with cocktails. I decide not to question it.

On purpose, I sit beside Malakai, with my boy on my other side. I don't want any other Daddies near him, friends or not. I've never been this possessive, but with Sebastian, I can't help it.

"So," I ask, "why do you keep saying the club? I'm the manager here, remember?"

Ryker chuckles. Malakai pins me with an excited, crazed look. And my boy bites his lip nervously.

"I mean the assassin club," my boy blurts.

"The what?"

"We're assassins. All three of us," Ryker says.

"Okay… I didn't expect that."

"That'sallyou've got to say?" Malakai sounds almost disappointed.

"How was I supposed to react?"

I already knew my Seb is an assassin, and he did mention he's part of an assassin club. Though we didn't discuss what that entails.

"Don't pay him any attention, Daddy. Also, I don't like this."

My boy crosses his hands and pouts.

"What don't you like?"

"Sitting here!" he whines.

It takes me a second to realize what's wrong, then I chuckle, haul him onto my lap, and settle him there. He wraps his hands around my shoulders, smiling as he kisses my cheek.

"That's better."

"It is," I agree.

I turn back to the guys and joke, "So now that I'm in your assassin club, does this mean I need some sort of initiation?"

They exchange a look. Shit. Maybe I shouldn't have asked that.

"Nah," Ryker says at last. "You're with Seb, so you're automatically in. Besides, you've met his father and you survived, so all's good."

"How do you know I've met his father?"

"We know a lot of things." Malakai smiles.

"Wait," I ask Sebastian, "is your father part of the assassin club too?"
