"Malakai, I've been busy." Sebastian rolls his eyes, then beams at me, clinging to my arm. "I want to introduce you to my most special person, my Daddy."
I can't help it. I look at my boy with a dopey grin. The happiness in his voice, the way he says it… it melts me.
Both men stand. I extend my hand first.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Ezrah."
"Welcome to the club. I'm Malakai."
Considering I'm the manager, it's not my first time in the club, but I don't correct him.
The blond man takes my hand next. "I'm Ryker. Welcome. We've never seen Sebastian this happy, and it'll be nice to have another Daddy around."
"Another Daddy?" I ask.
Sebastian turns to me, "Both Malakai and Ryker are Daddies."
"I've got a feeling we'll get along very well," Ryker says with a smile.
It wouldn't hurt to make a few friends, especially ones who understand our dynamic, but I still don't like other Daddies near my boy.
Had one of them ever beenhisDaddy?
I tighten my arm around my boy and pull him close. He giggles, patting my chest like I'm a wild animal that needs taming.
"Don't worry, Daddy. You're the only one for me."
I lean in and murmur against his ear, "Damn right I am. I'm your one and only Daddy, boy. Remember that."
I give him a heated look just to be sure.
"Damn, I love a bit of possessiveness," Malakai says, sitting back with his drink. "What would you say, Seb, is your Daddy the best you've had?"
I tense immediately.
Is heimplyingthere was something between them in the past?
In a blink, my boy moves. He pulls a knife and presses it to Malakai's neck.
Malakai only grins wider, and for a second, I think he's insane. Maybe he is.
I'm frozen, stunned by the sheer precision of my boy's movements. He's fast, silent, and lethal.
"Do. Not. Speak. Like. That," Sebastian says, with venom dripping from every word. "Do not make my Daddy uncomfortable."
I step closer, laying a hand on his arm. "Boy, it's okay."
He doesn't take his eyes off Malakai."No. It's not."
Malakai lifts his hands, "Okay, okay. I admit defeat."
"Apologize," Seb demands.
Malakai looks at me, exasperated, like he doesn't have a knife pressed to his throat. "I'm sorry. I wanted to rile him up a little bit. We all know he's never had a Daddy. You've always been the only one for him."
I'm confused.
They've always known I'm the only one for him?
