It's insanity, but it's also exactly what I crave.
It hasn't even been half an hour since he left my office, sated and in need of changing his clothes, and I already miss him. Good thing we both keep spare clothes at work.
After another thirty minutes, I decide to check on him. I can't be far away from him for long.
When I reach the bar, I hear Ethan saying, "You should go, the guys are waiting to see you."
"Who'll help Conrad behind the bar?" my boy asks.
"I'll help."
"You?" My boy asks, surprised.
"Yes."
"Where are you going?" I ask my boy.
Part of me feels like a barbarian ready to go on a rampage because I don't know where my man's going, or what guys he's about to meet.
My boy smiles brightly and bounces over to me. He looks far better and happier than before, and I relax as I welcome him in my arms, pressing a kiss to his forehead.
"Daddy!" he says in that soft, playful voice.
"I'm here, my boy."
"Don't you have work?" Ethan cuts in.
Before I can answer, Sebastian turns toward him, all warmth gone. His body stiffens, and his voice is like ice.
"Are you trying to take my Daddy away from me, Ethan?"
I almost laugh when I see Ethan's face. He actually looks… afraid.
"No! I was just asking."
"You better not be trying to force my Daddy away from me," Sebastian warns, then turns back to me with a sweet smile. Bouncing slightly, he says, "Daddy, come with me. I want to introduce you to some friends. I think you'll like them."
I glance toward Ethan, still unsure if this is a good idea, but Sebastian pinches my hand.
"Don't look at him for permission, or I'll have to gouge his eyes out."
"Go," Ethan mutters, waving us off with a tired sigh. "You two give me a headache."
"Okay," my boy says, smiling, and makes me follow him.
When we reach the bouncer at the VIP staircase, I realize where we're headed.
"I've never been up there," I admit quietly.
"I know! It will be your first time!"
The bouncer's lips twitch, but he steps aside.
The VIP area is far better than I imagined, with dark leather couches, wooden tables, a golden bar, and soft lighting. It's spacious, private, and refined.
Sebastian leads me straight to a table where two men sit drinking whiskey. They're the only patrons up here, aside from the bartender. Both are muscular, attractive, and wearing smirks that make me narrow my eyes. I don't like how they look at my boy.
"Finally, you decided to join us," the black-haired one says, grinning.
