I don't even register what my father says to Daddy. I can't take my eyes off my precious man. It's like time slowed down just for us and this precious moment.

Daddy's eyes shine as he smiles at me like I'm his entire world.

And that's when I know my dream came true.

This is forever.

We can't tear our eyes from each other as we say our vows and our I do. The kiss that follows is one of the gentlest we've ever shared. It's the sealing of our vows, our love, and the start of our new beginning.

"Sebastian Hale, you're my everything," Daddy says, eyes misty and full of devotion.

I shiver hearing my new name, hisname, on his lips. It feels right. It feels like destiny is finally catching up to us.

"Ezrah Hale," I whisper back, "you'll always be my everything."

We kiss again. This time, the kiss is heated, hungry, and full of promises for later.

I'll forever be grateful I decided he was mine.

From the past, to this moment, and to my last breath, it'll forever be:Always all for Daddy.

Epilogue

Sebastian

One year later

"Alright, this is the last box," Daddy says with a smile.

I don't get it.

Why is he smiling like this when this is the second time we're changing homes? Why is he so happy when our first home literally burned to the ground?

Daddy sees the look on my face and walks over.

"What's wrong, boy?"

"Why are you so happy? The plan was always to live inourhouse, not in my family's compound."

When my father trained me, one of the first things he taught me was that if I wanted to be part of the assassins' family, I had to understand loyalty, that we need to stick together. He broughtme to the compound many times to convince me to move here, but I always refused. I was always close to my Daddy.

But two days ago, Malakai set fire to our home. I don't blame him. If I were in his place, I'd have done worse.

"Hey. Look at me," Daddy says, gently guiding my face up.

Even a year later, his eyes shine with that same love and devotion.

"It doesn't matter where we live. What matters is being together and you being safe. If living with your family keeps you safe, then that's what I want. And besides…" He grins. "Everyone has their own house. It's basically a neighborhood."

I chuckle, because it's true.

The compound stretches across several acres. Everyone has their own house, and there's even a place for torture if necessary.

"I still feel guilty about what happened to Malakai and his boy," I admit.

Daddy wraps his arms around me and kisses my forehead.

"It's not your fault. Malakai will understand that eventually."
