“You do realize how much money you offered, right? Surely you have a timeline in mind for that amount,” I say, breathing through my mouth when a burst of his pheromones lifts on the air.

“That amount is for each heat cycle,” Mason says, pulling my attention back to him.

I stare at him so long my eyes burn. With a shake of my head, I blink a few times. “You realize you offered amilliondollars. And either living here or paying my expenses if I choose to stay at my home.”

“Plus security and a new car,” Desmond points out.

I don’t remember reading that, but clearly, they’ve planned everything.

I pace to the door, needing space to think and distance from three alphas I’d gladly climb like trees.

Spinning around and facing the room now that I’ve put some space between myself and three extremely fuckable alphas, I run my fingers through my hair to push it away from my face. “You’re saying if I agree to this, you’ll pay me up to four million dollars to try for a kid. Plus a car. And security. And if I want to stay at my apartment, you’ll pay all living expenses.”

Mason nods while Desmond and Alex simply watch me.

“Youhaveto realize how insane that sounds.”

There’s so much sadness on Desmond’s face that I can’t look him in the eyes.

“Is it any more insane than having two bonded moms?” Alex asks.

“Or six dads?” Des asks.

I look at each of them but settle on Alex. “Your moms are bonded?”

He nods and smiles softly, a hopeful look plain as day on his ruggedly handsome face. Where Des and Mason obviously shaved for our meeting, Alex has a little scruff peppering his cheeks and chin and I ache to rub my face against it to see if it’s scratchy or soft.

“Yep. My biological mom is an omega, but momma is a beta. They were bonded before they met my dads.”

“Huh.” It shouldn’t surprise me; I had two moms myself, though mine could barely stand each other.

That’s neither here nor there. What’s important now is the fact these men are obviously off their rockers. If they have enough money in the bank to pay me up to four million dollars, why have they not been able to find a surrogate in all these years?

Maybe the universe was simply waiting for you.

Oh, shut up.

“This is all a lot. How about we court you? We’ll spend a few weeks getting to know each other and you can decide if you want to spend your heat with us. No pressure about breeding,” Alex says, holding up his hands. “We can use protection if you’re not already on anything.”

“My heat is only a couple weeks away.” Which is why I put up that damn ad. I wanted enough time to meet the alphas before being locked away in a nest for up to a week.

“That should be enough time for you to at least decide if you’ll let us help you through your heat,” Alex says.

Desmond’s brows are puckered as his gaze bounces back and forth between us. “Does it bother you that the three of us are mated? Or that we might make love during your heat?”

I release a very unbecoming snort and try to cover it – very unconvincingly – with a cough. “Not in the least.”

I’m not giving them my sexual history. My past is my business.

That hope returns to Desmond’s eyes as he smiles over at Mason.

“Can I at least show you the omega quarters and nest?” Alex offers, slowly pushing to his feet.

I would have my own fucking quarters? Not sure why I’m surprised. This house is huge.

“That would actually be nice.” And might feel a little more normal than bargaining with virtual strangers about renting my womb.

He offers his hand which I take willingly. Actually, it feels extremely natural to slide my palm against his, to thread my fingers through his, even if this entire situation is…well, shit.
