“Why haven’t you added an omega or beta if you want a family?” Hudson asks.
I appreciate his candor, and I promised him we would be open with him. But that question has been aimed at us in some not-so-kind ways through the years.
“I fell in love with two incredible men, and no one has appealed to me the same way since,” Alex answers after a few seconds.
I smile at him on the couch across from us and wink.
“Who met who first?” Hudson asks, looking to each of us in turn.
“Des and I met in law school. We were roommates,” I answer.
“It was more than that. I knew from the moment he walked into our dorm room he was meant to be mine,” Desmond answers from the other side of Hudson.
Damn my mate and his sweet words.
“I came along later. What was it…two years later?” Alex asks me.
“One year and six months after Des and I bonded each other. We met him while vying for an internship at a big firm downtown,” I say to Hudson.
We’re trying to be natural while including him in the conversation. Poor omega has to keep turning his head back and forth to listen to each of us. It might have been easier if the three of us had sat on one couch so he could see us all in a line and watch how we interact with each other.
What can I say? I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to be close to him, to huff hits of the pheromones practically pouring from him as he sits in such close proximity to three alphas.
That has to mean we’re compatible. Right?
CHAPTER 3
Hudson
Damn, they smell good. Peppermint and sweet whipped cream from Mason, chocolate hazelnut from Desmond, and beneath it all, Alex’s smoky wood ash. Their dominance hums in the air, effortless, not posturing.
Alphas always react to omegas, especially when we’re compatible.
And damn, are we compatible.
All three of them smell absolutely delicious. It’s taking so much energy to keep from leaning over and licking one of them to see if they taste half as good as they smell.
Slick has begun to dampen my hole, but thankfully, I’d planned accordingly and worn my omega specific boxer briefs.
Nothing I can do about my currently engorged dick.
Three sets of eyes are glued to me – bright blue, sweet hazel, and warm chocolate brown. All three are wearing the samehopeful looks and I’m so tempted to agree simply to put them out of their misery.
But this is a huge decision. Even if we’re not successful, I’ll be committing myself to only these three men for…
Actually, we haven’t gotten to that part yet.
“You laid out a lot of details, but there are a few more things I need to know before I can make any kind of decision,” I say, looking to Mason since he’s the pack lead.
“Ask anything.”
“Well, for one thing, how long did the three of you want to try for a child?” Their offer was to move me in or pay my expenses, but they didn’t specify how long we would try for a child. As nice as a steady pack sounds, I need all the details before signing on.
And I would absolutely want to see any form of bloodwork and testing to ensure I wouldn’t walk away with more than stretch marks.
“As long as you’re willing,” Alex says. He’s leaning forward with his elbows resting on his knees.
I hadn’t noticed before how differently they dress – Alex is all casual in jeans, Desmond looks polished in a sweater, Mason’s all crisp and professional in a tie and slacks.I’m mildly surprised he didn’t bother with the jacket with how formally he dressed for what’s supposed to be a casual get to know you session.
