Shiloh opened his arms. “No, I just need you to squish me. You can do that, right?”
Levi nodded warily. “Sure, but I can’t guarantee I won’t pop an awkward boner. Just try not to notice.”
Shiloh giggled. “Are you saying you can’t be on top of me without thinking about sex?”
Levi flopped onto Shiloh, making himself a dead weight on top of him, resting his head on Shiloh’s chest for a change. Shiloh hugged his head like it was a plushie. “Of course not. I can barely hug you without thinking about being inside you.”
Shiloh shivered. “Now I’m the one about to pop an awkward boner.”
Levi kissed the skin beneath him. “Is it still awkward if we’re both turned on? Or is it just foreplay?”
“I…don’t know?”
“That’s okay, we have a whole lifetime of awkward boners ahead of us,” Levi promised, pressing two more kisses into his skin, one directly over Shiloh’s nipple, making him gasp.
“Do you really think you’ll want to spend your whole life with me?” Shiloh asked after a bit.
Levi braced himself on his forearms. “I want to spend a hundred lifetimes with you.” He gave him a grin. “If I found a genie in a bottle, I’d ask for that three times.”
Shiloh snorted with laughter, then pushed his head back down to comb his fingers through his hair. It felt so good Levi wanted to purr. “You’re so stupid. You wouldn’t wish for world peace?”
Levi grinned. “Nope, just you.”
“Seems stupid to waste two wishes on the same thing as the third,” Shiloh said wistfully.
“Okay, fine. I’d wish that every day you love me a little more than the day before.”
When Shiloh spoke again, his voice was thick with tears. “What about you? Shouldn’t you wish that you’ll love me a little bit more than the day before so you don’t get tired of me?”
He raised up once more. “Tomorrow, we’re going to make an appointment at the doctor’s to get your hearing checked,” he teased, tugging on Shiloh’s earlobe. “There’s literally no way for me to love you more than I do right now. It would cause some kind of catastrophic shift in the universe, knocking the Earth off its axis and hurtling us into some kind of black hole.”
Shiloh gave a wet laugh. “You’re so dramatic.”
“But you love me anyway?” Levi asked, feeling like he was mentally holding his breath until he heard Shiloh say yes.
Instead, he teased, “That depends on what your third wish is.”
“What if I wish for you to get three wishes, too? What would you pick?” Levi asked.
“There’s no way I can top anything you said,” Shiloh said shyly.
“You don’t have to. Just tell me what you’d wish for.”
Shiloh cupped Levi’s face. “Why? Are you secretly a genie?”
Levi hit him with his best smolder. “No, but I will do everything I can to make your wishes come true.”
Shiloh stared at him. “I had no idea you were so…”
“Romantic? Sexy? Swoony?”
“Corny? Sappy? Embarrassing?” Shiloh countered, a huge grin on his face.
“I’m not. At least, I wasn’t before I met you. I’m just being honest,” Levi said. “Now, stop stalling. Tell me your three wishes, and you don’t have to even make them about us ‘cause I’ve got that covered. Tell me, what would make you happy?”
Shiloh chewed on his bottom lip, then finally said, “Malachi having someone who understands him, who sees his weird and loves him anyway.”
Levi’s heart swelled. “You have three wishes and you’re going to give one to Mal?”
