I shrugged. “The floor’s available.”

“Sniffle my balls, you queef.”

“Takes one to know one.”

“You lose your damn phone?”

I plucked my phone from out of my bag and pulled up the missed call list, turning it to him.

“She’s right here.”

“Who the hell is PITA?”

I grinned. “Stands for Pain in the Ass.”

He shook his head and gave me the finger.

“You hired a new trainer.” He stared out the window, watching Syd as she moved mats around. I noticed how she’d kicked out of the four inch stilettoes she’d worn. But when I cut my gaze back to Pit to see him still observing her, something in my stomach heated.

“You come here to stare at tits and ass all day or did you need something?” I snapped.

He turned back to me with surprise in his eyes, tilted his head and laughed. “Is that jealousy I detect?”

“I wouldn’t know jealousy if that bitch ran up and kicked me in the ass. Damn sure not over a fucking woman. Especially not one I work with.”

He snorted. “If you say so.”

“I say so.”

“Yeah, well then you might want to take her advice and watch those pet names like she said. Damn sexual harassment suit waiting to happen.”

I grunted. “You sound like Len.”

“What’s he up to these days?”

“Still breathing. Still my lawyer and manager.”

“Hm.”

“Now what the hell are you here for?”

“I can’t drop by to see an old friend?”

“We’re friends?”

“I’m still questioning myself on this. Yeah, we’re fucking friends. Speaking of friendships.” He moved to pull something out of the back pocket of his jeans and stepped forward, tossing it on my desk.

“What’s this?” I questioned, peering up at him from the paper that had a date written on it.

“That is the date you’re to have your ass in Vegas for my bachelor party.”

I lifted an eyebrow. “No shit,” I stated, sitting back against my chair, again folding my hands at the back of my head. “Who’s the lucky lady? Do I know her?”

His grin widened. “As if you don’t know it’s Skittles.”

I laughed. “No shit. How is Taste the Rainbow these days?”

His eyes narrowed. “You know if you were anybody else, I’d kick your ass for calling her that.”
