“Tyler!” I yelled out his name as I came, my vaginal walls squeezing, searching for something to milk.

Tyler aimed to please because before I could even catch my breath, he was sliding his thick rod into me. And just as quickly, another orgasm began to build deep inside of my body. I lifted my hands, reaching for his broad shoulders to hold onto. My hand went to the back of his head, pulling him to me. Our lips met in a frenzy, our tongues tasting, licking, and slurping at one another as if we hadn’t tasted anything this wonderful in years. Never had I ever hungered for someone as much as Tyler, and that was saying a lot. So much, that I had to squeeze my eyes shut against the gravity of my realization.

“I knew,” he began saying, and grunting while he continued to pound into my body. “Since that first day in training camp …” he drilled into me relentlessly, “I knew you were mine.” His teeth sunk into the flesh of my neck.

“Oooh,” I whined, overcome by the mix of pain and pleasure.

Tyler interlocked his hands with mine, raising them over my head against the table. He went completely still, his eyes intent with that fire that was always present behind the mirth. “You can still be pissed at me over Riggs if you need to, but know this … another man will never hurt or put his hands on my woman without feeling any repercussions. That goes for Riggs, your ex, and any other fucker who wants to act as if he has a death wish. Riggs is lucky he only walked away with a busted lip and bloody nose.”

“Ty-Ty—” I panted, unable to form anything near a coherent thought. I was on the verge of coming and he was talking about killing his damn teammate.

“Just making that clear for you,” he stated before taking both of my wrists in one of his massive hands and moving the other one to my clit. “Now, you can come for me,” he ordered while pressing circles into my clit with his thumb and stroking my inside walls with his hard cock.

My mouth parted, back arched, and eyes rolled back into my head as the orgasm flooded every fiber of my being. My toes curled and my heels dug into Tyler’s back as he continued to pump into my body, reaching for his own release. I felt it the moment he released into me. I should’ve been terrified given my history. I should’ve demanded he pull out. But when he leaned down over my body, staring into my eyes just before he took my lips in another heated kiss, there was no fear. Just acceptance of the reality that I, indeed, belonged to Tyler Townsend.

Chapter Twenty-Three

Tyler

Tonight’s the night. That was the first thought I had as soon as my eyes opened that morning. It’d been a day and a half since we’d left Williamsport for the yacht. Our first stop was Belize, as I’d wanted to spend as much private time with my girl on the yacht as possible. Once we made it to Belize, we ate, had our bags placed in the luxury room I’d rented for the night that sat right on the beach, and headed to do some scuba diving.

Much to my surprise, or I shouldn’t have been surprised, but weeks earlier Destiny had shown me pictures of her trip to Italy in which she’d become a certified scuba diver. She discussed going on trips over the past three years, but never having made it to Roatan Island which supposedly had the best diving in the western hemisphere. Needless to say, that planted the seed for this trip. While I’d originally planned to wait until after the season, my suspension, and in all honesty, my lack of patience, had propelled me to book the trip months earlier.

“I can’t wait to see Roatan. It looks so beautiful from these pictures,” Destiny beamed, staring at her phone. “Look.” She stood from the large, king-sized bed in the bedroom of the yacht and walked over to me, plopping down in my lap. I sat out on a chair on our bedroom’s second story deck.

Leaning back, I kicked my feet up on the railing, and adjusted her body so she was tightly snuggled against mine.

“It’s beautiful,” I stated before kissing her shoulder.

“You didn’t even look.” She frowned. “You okay? You’ve been quiet this morning.”

I lifted an eyebrow.

“I didn’t get much sleep last night or the night before that.”

She giggled and swatted at my shoulder. “That’s your own damn fault for being so fine.”

I winked at her and sat back deeper into my chair. Sighing, she turned her back to lay against my chest. I wrapped my arms tighter around her waist, holding her firmly to me. I ran my hands up and down the sides of her exposed abdomen, thanks to the two-piece, bright pink bikini she wore. I’d made sure to pack that one when I first saw it in her dresser.

“What’re you thinking about?”

“Life.”

She pivoted her head to stare up at me.

“I was a twin.” I moved my gaze from her to the mass of blue water that met up with the mass of blue sky at the horizon. “Identical twin. He died at birth.”

Destiny gasped, sitting up. “Tyler, I’m so sorry.”

“It’s weird. It’s like I can feel him sometimes. Or at least, I used to. When I was a kid. Always felt like there was a piece of me that was missing. I’m pretty sure that’s what also caused me to act out. I felt like I needed to live life to the fullest for the both of us, since he didn’t get to join the party, ya know?”

Destiny tilted her head to the side. “It kind of makes sense.”

“I think he led me to you.”

“How so?”

I shrugged. “If I hadn’t been such a pain in the ass as a kid, maybe my father wouldn’t have put me into sports. I know after the first time I was tackled on the field, my mother insisted that I be taken out. My father was only able to convince her to keep me in by pointing out how much more disciplined I was while playing. And if I hadn’t continued playing, I never would’ve been recruited by the Cougars and maybe I wouldn’t have come across you. My destiny.” I reached up and kissed her lips before turning her to face the ocean again as I wrapped my arms around her waist.
