I blink, squinting into the dim light of the room. I see us in the mirror, our bodies moving together in choreographed synchronization that makes color spark behind my vision.

Brody looks anguished. Pure lust in his eyes, desperation in the hungry, greedy way he nips at my neck and ear. He’s a man tortured, and when he tilts his chin, attention moving to me, I know I’m his salvation.

“We look so good together,” I whisper.

I reach down, finding his balls and cupping them in my hands. His groan is ragged, and he pulls out of me. Lies on the bed and slams me down on his shaft, my breath stuttering out as I take his length.

“Make me come,” he practically begs. “Ruin me.”

My surroundings blur. I work him up and down, each rotation of his hips helping him get deeper, deeperuntil his muscles constrict. Until he sputters out my name, falling over the edge in a fit of tangled limbs.

I don’t stop until my own orgasm hits me, using him to chase the high. I join him, gasping as he holds me in place, filling me up with warm spurts of his release until he has nothing left. My body gives out, exhausted from the physical and emotional exertion, and Brody gathers me in his arms. Kisses me until I finally feel like I return to earth.

“I don’t want this to go to your head, but sex with a man has never been this good before for me.” My cheek rests on his shoulder, and I trace over the dark hair on his chest. “You make me forget my name.”

“For me too. It’s a whole new world when you’re on top of me.”

We’re slow to pull apart, taking our time to climb in the shower and clean up. Brody washes my hair, scrubbing my scalpwith featherlight fingers. After, he warms up the leftover pizza in my fridge and brings it to me in bed. He climbs in next to me, stealing a bite of the slice covered in pineapple, and hums.

“You know what?” he says, a drop of tomato sauce on the corner of his mouth. “I kind of like that.”

“See. You’ve been missing out on so much because you’re a stubborn man who doesn’t want to try something new.” I hold up the slice to him and he takes another bite. “Hopefully you’ve learned your lesson.”

“Many, many lessons.”

“Did you find anything good on Ethan’s phone earlier?” I ask.

“God.” He groans and puts his forehead on my arm. “Don’t remind me. I’m afraid I need to teach a sex ed class so everyone knows what happens when you sleep with someone without protection. Can you imagine? All of the guys and their kids running around the arena? I can barely controloneRichardson, let alone a mini version.”

“Daddy Saunders talking about the importance of safe sex and wrapping up.” I smirk. “That’s hot.”

“You’re the only one allowed to call me that,” he huffs. “The playoffs start next week. Will you come to the home games?”

“Of course I’ll be there.” I prop up on an elbow. “It’s important to you, which means it’s important to me.”

“Hey.” He moves his hand to my cheek. “Have I told you tonight that you’re my favorite person in the world?”

“Am I? Out of eight billion humans, you’re picking me?” I ask.

“Every single time,” Brody murmurs. “And I think that means I win at life.’
