I snorted, “That’s Dylan’s goal.” Idel admitted, “Theo does complain about the Carolers that follow him around, but hesmiles. James said it makes the whole pack happy to be included in Dylan’s fun and that does make Theo happy.”
Emmaline groaned, “I wish someone would just let me solve that issue with Haley.” Idel sighed, “I don’t know that we can fix it. It’s a big deal.” Emmaline frowned, “I know that, but it hurts Lucas. Which I hate. My husband did what he had to do, and everyone admits that.”
Sharon gently said, “I know that, but it would feel disloyal to any wolf. Even if any of my sisters went crazy, to remain friends with the person who killed them. We didn’t even grow up together like Theo and Aaron did.”
Emmaline made a face while Kiara whined in my head. It sucked because I remember when Theo, Eric, and Lucas were friends. I remembered Aaron too and honestly that whole situation didn’t make any sense.
Kiara said, “We have our own theories.” Yeah, I was somewhat certain that Aaron’s mate died when he found her or something. That had to be why he went so crazy because he was a nice guy. He always smiled at me and would say something about Dylan. Aaron knew I liked him, and he might have been the only one besides Eric who did.
Sure, I was just a pup but he never treated me that way. I chimed in, “Lucas hated that he had to do that, but he’s an Alpha.” Jackie clapped saying, “Ok, we are relaxing and not talking about sad situations. Dylan set this up for happiness.” Everyone nodded.
We walked into a Winter Wonderland with a steaming hot tub. I laughed, “Those are going to be alcoholic drinks.” It looked like hot cocoa too. Emmaline disagreed, “I bet they are not.” I asked, “Really? Why?”
Emmaline admitted, “I’m popping us all back for a break time and based on what your man was saying it’s for sexy times.” I snorted, “Oh my god.” Jackie chuckled, “It’s so like Dylan tothink of all the details to get everyone excited.” Idel asked, “Who is everyone?”
I answered, “The male counterparts. Dylan is going to throw in sexy times so all the men look forward to his planning sessions and ask him about party planning for next year. He’s setting it all up, so everyone enjoys his Christmas day each month he has one.”
Emmaline agreed, “That’s definitely how his soul felt about it. Based on, well our lives since we’ve been mated his plan will work.” I teased, “When don’t Dylan’s plans work?” Idel commented, “Touche. Dylan likes to say Haley’s wolf get what he wants, but I’ve never seen Dylan not get his way eventually.”
Hexxi popped in the middle of the hot tub and snapped us into Christmas bikinis. My Luna’s sister asked, “Guess what?” I replied, “I could not possibly guess where you are concerned. You are literally an out of the box type of person.” Hexxi was a bit off the wall, but she was fun.
Idel said, “Normally, I’d say that she wolf was being a bit dramatic but she has a point, sister.” Emmaline chuckled, “Oh come on, I know!” Kiara chuckled. I teased, “You’re cheating by reading her soul.” Emmaline admitted, “Ok, so I did do that.”
Sharon guessed, “Someone is letting you prank people.” Oh god no. Hexxi squealed, “YES! I got another no rules prank offer. In the HUMAN realm even!” My jaw dropped. I groaned, “Please say Dylan isn’t the one who gave you said permission. Or if it was my mate, say that Lucas agreed with him. Or Travis. I’m amenable.”
Kiara snorted, “Mate wouldn’t do that without back up.” Or permission. Hexxi looked around and whispered, “You guys cannot say anything about who gave me the go ahead.” I gasped, “Oh my god! Please be Haley. Please.”
Hexxi chuckled, “She knows about it.” Emmaline squealed, “Are you getting Cassandra again?” Hexxi grinned, “Not justher.” Jackie gasped, “NO! Are you getting Cassandra, Davis, and Betty?” I asked, “Why would someone give you permission to get them all?”
Hexxi answered smugly, “They’ve been naughty.” I asked, “And you’re Santa Claus?” Sharon, Emmaline, and Jackie cackled. Idel and Sharon looked at me like I was insane. I added, “It’s a human realm thing, apparently.” Both nodded.
Jackie said, “So Haley knows about this, but she didn’t say not to do it. It had to be Molly then.” Kiara snorted, “You know they are wrong.” I did. I smugly said, “It was Eric.” Idel scoffed, “It was definitely not Haley’s wolf. He barely has any fun ever.”
Emmaline agreed, “I do doubt that, but not because Eric doesn’t have fun. I just can’t see him contacting Hexxi.” Because they didn’t know Eric like I did. Hexxi giggled, “The she wolf is right. Consort Eric did tell me to get them. He even said it should be Christmas themed. Haley giggled and threw out ideas.”
Emmaline’s jaw dropped. Sharon gasped, “Oh my god, I need alcohol for this conversation.” Jackie hummed, “Eric is giving Fairies permission to go all out on his mother. Plus, the people I call my ex-in laws since they gave up custody of Travis.” I snickered and Jackie busted up laughing then gathered herself.
Sharon conjured herself alcohol shrugging, “This is required.” My sister in law shouted, “You? You need alcohol for this? I’ve known Alpha Eric my entire life. I’ve heard dad tell stories about him. The man is now actively going with a theme that Dylan’s set up to have his own mother and Dylan’s parents pranked. I mean, Davis sure. It’s not a secret Eric has always hated him.”
I agreed, “It’s really not. Dad always had to tell Davis not to annoy Eric and I heard Eric say to Davis’s face that he could shut the fuck up or he’d only deal with Dylan since he was training on Beta duties.”
Emmaline shouted, “WHAT?!” Sharon pointed at Emmaline, “What she said in the literal same shrieking you’ve kept tea from us tone.” Jackie snorted, “I didn’t know that part, but it’s very well-known fact that Eric dislikes Davis.”
Idel disagreed, “Not to us. Tell us more. Literally everything. Spare no detail, please.” I laughed, “It would take a while.” Hexxi said, “We have time and you have to tell us. I didn’t know Consort Eric didn’t like Davis. I need details to know just how mean I can get.”
Jackie said, “It’s no holds barred on Davis for you, Hexxi. Alpha Eric would probably pay you to get him in every way you can think of. I know of at least five times Eric punched Davis.” I admitted, “I know three were for Dylan.” Emmaline screamed, “OH MY GOD! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, GIVE DETAILS YOU TWO!”
Idel conjured champagne and poured it. We all looked at her. Hexxi said, “That is the wrong color for the theme, sister.” Idel muttered in Fealish and the champagne turned red. Hexxi nodded saying, “There. Now it’s Christmas themed and you can tell us the gossip.” Kiara snorted, “She thought we were staring because the champagne was the wrong color.” I got that.
I said, “It’s not gossip, it’s common knowledge.” Sharon disagreed, “Um no it’s not. I grew up in a pack and had no idea.” Jackie pointed out, “Ok, I’ll rephrase what my sister in law said. It’s common knowledge around this area. You didn’t grow up with us.” Jackie paused, then said, “Well, not Faerie. I mean where we live.”
Emmaline practically pleaded, “Will one of you just tell us? I can’t believe that in all these years NO ONE has mentioned Eric and Davis have beef!” Jackie snorted, “I mean it’s not beef. Alpha Eric just loathes Davis. For his part, Davis doesn’t understand Alpha Eric’s problem with him. Even though the man has outright told him.”
Idel groaned, “You guys are terrible story tellers. Hold on.” Jackie and I glanced at each other while she called someone. Beta James answered, “Idel, are you ok?” Idel snorted, “Of course I am. YOU SIR, are in TROUBLE!”
Beta James groaned, “What? Why? I didn’t do anything. I’m corralling the pups, just like you wanted.” Idel shot back, “Did you know that Eric and Davis Frost hate each other?” Beta James reasoned, “Well, Davis doesn’t hate Eric.” Idel shouted, “YOU KNEW?!”
Beta James said, “Everyone in this area knows. Dylan used to send memos about Eric’s undying love for him because he punched Davis for Dylan. More than once too.” I snorted, “Davis did not care for those memos.” Dad thought they were funny though, and he was right.
