Fang told me, “Kena is sleeping.” I replied, “I’d sleep to escape that woman too. The poor wolf just deals with her crapall the time. Now, Cassandra won’t be allowed near my parents. This is good because the meeting of evil minds should stop. IMMEDIATELY!”

I shifted and ran back to the Christmas party planning meeting. I heard SGAP yelling at Mommy Queenie Meanie in the hall. I skipped into the kitchen to see my co-conspirator. I tipped my imaginary hat to Mrs. Blanch. The woman smiled at me slyly.

I asked, “Did you have a good break?” Mrs. Blanch answered, “I did. I hear you’ve taken care of that problem I mentioned to you.” I winked, “I do so love my ears on the ground where Mommy Queenie Meanie is concerned. If you could circulate who Gryla the Christmas Witch is around the pack it might make her feel crazy because she doesn’t know. I already told Haley who it is.”

Mrs. Blanch laughed, “Oh my stars above, that’s a good comparison. I’ll just be going outside to drop these snacks off to the pack girls who adore our Luna and would be more than happy to spread word of the Christmas Witch.” I winked, “We are such a great team.”

Mrs. Blanch chuckled but her eyes looked a little sad. I squeezed her hand, “I’m sorry. I, of all people, know that when you see people for who they truly are it hurts. I realized long ago my dad isn’t the man other people see, nor is my mother. Once upon a time though I strived for their love and respect.”

“I know Mommy Queenie Meanie was your friend, but she never deserved you. I never liked how she treated you. Or any of her friends for that matter. I’ve got Debbie finally getting distance. I wish I could get more for you.”

Mrs. Blanch admitted, “We see each other less and less. I have my distance while being able to clue you into certain things.” I grinned, “Yes, and I adore how you’ve decided to go about it since you could tell Alpha splitting his face open all the time and terrifying the villagers yourself.”

Mrs. Blanch admitted, “Your way is better and always has been. It makes you happy and Eric gets included in what he needs to know about. I’m not telling on Cassandra to him specifically either. So, she’ll never figure out I’m the one telling you.”

I doubt even if she told Alpha splitting his face and currently yelling righteously at his mother that Cassandra would find out. That man was discreet in all things. Mrs. Blanch continued, “In the end, we protect Haley and Eric’s happiness. It’s so nice to see that boy smile.” I winked, “If you figure out how he started this Dylanmas ball rolling, let me know.”

Mrs. Blanch laughed, “If Eric did that, then no one will ever find out. Mostly because he won’t want anyone to know. I haven’t heard that he did though.” I winked, “Keep those ears to the ground for anything for me to take care of then. I’ll just know in my heart he wanted Dylanmas back and jumpstarted the plans.” Mrs. Blanch left to get the pack talking about Gryla. It was another good day to be Dylan Frost.

Reminiscing

August

Lacy was having fun. Emmaline giggled, “I can’t believe we’re in Faerie for a spa day.” I snorted, “I can. Dylan is busy causing his chaos.” Emmaline asked, “Does he really think you don’t know what he’s up to?” I replied, “I think he does know deep down, but he’s having so much fun he’s not acknowledging that. I’m so glad we got him to have Dylanmas again.”

Emmaline admitted, “Me too. He’s so excited and kid-like. Well, even more than normal. I cannot believe he’s going to hop the kids up on sugar.” I laughed, “He’ll balance it all. It’s Alpha Ezra that should be worried. Dylan won’t balance that pack out at all.”

Emmaline asked, “What do you mean balance? Those kids are going to bounce off the walls with all the sugar.” I replied, “He’ll have pizza or something delivered later to calm them down. Probably some drink with properties from Fairie to chill them out. I don’t know exactly what my husband will do, but he’ll definitely have lunch catered. Maybe Dylan will include an obstacle course or something else set up for them.”

Emmaline grinned, “That’s so fun. He’s really the best. I’m so glad Dylan is my children’s Uncle and that you’re their Aunt.” I beamed, “My mate and I both love that too.” Kiara boasted, “Our Luna is the best.” I chuckled, “She’s our sister in law too.” Kiara agreed, “Which makes it so much more fun.”

I asked, “You’re not mad you’re not in the planning group, are you?” Emmaline replied, “No, I was asked but I’d rather get all the spa and fun days Dylan sends you on while he plans. I’m already planning a Christmas Party for the pack beforeDylanmas so it’s fine by me. I get the best of both worlds.” I laughed, “I’m really happy about that.” We clinked glasses.

Davis linked me, “Eggnog in the gym is unacceptable. The pack is in total chaos. You need to talk to my son about it because I know it was his doing.” Kiara snarled, “That man did not just link us to complain about our mate having fun!” Of course he did. Davis was anti-fun.

Emmaline asked, “Are you ok? You growled a little there. Do you not like your drink? That’s not really like you to growl about that. Plus your soul soured with anger.” I sighed, “Davis is linking me about things in the pack. You know what? Two can play this game.”

I linked Dylan about it and seconds later he linked the pack. I linked Jackie, “Before you come here, spread it around that Davis linked me about the pups.” Jackie snorted, “Of course he did. I’m on it. I’m with someone who will spread it around. Davis might get beat up by Warriors.”

I replied, “A good shot to the jaw never hurt anyone.” Jackie laughed, “I’ll see you guys soon. Sharon is popping in to get me, then I’ll be there!” Sharon was coming too. I told Emmaline, “Sharon and Jackie will be here soon.”

Emmaline sighed, “Idel will join us too, but she’s having too much fun right now. Hexxi should be around.” I asked, “What’s that face?” Emmaline groaned, “I’m so jealous of Haley’s ability to lock down her emotions sometimes. I just wish Maribella could come and join us.”

I assured her, “Dylan will plan things that aren’t in Faerie and Maribella will be there.” Emmaline wiped away a tear, “I know. I just hate that she still can’t be here in what should be our home.” I gave her a hug saying, “Maribella has that boundary with Faerie and that’s fair.”

Emmaline agreed, “I know. She never saw anything good here like Haley did. All Maribella saw was bad. Then Fairieskidnapped her mate and tortured him. Her feelings make sense, I just wish we could all be here together sometimes.”

I replied, “Maybe someday everyone can. We are going to live a really long time.” Kiara purred, “All that time with mate.” Yeah, Dylan just made life more fun. Jackie linked, “Davis will be leaving us all alone. Sharon and I are incoming.”

Sharon popped in and we all hugged. I asked, “So, who clocked Davis first?” Jackie laughed, “Danver.” I grinned, “I love that man in a completely platonic way.” Jackie laughed, “Yeah, he growled that Davis would leave you and Dylan alone. You because you are having a relaxing day. Dylan because he is having his fun Christmas in August day.” I laughed, “Good.”

Hexxi popped in, “Gosh, why are you guys still out here? Come on!” Hexxi popped us inside the spa and my jaw dropped. We were in the Water territory, so it shouldn’t surprise me that there was water was everywhere.

There were waterfalls all around us though. It all sounded like muted running water but in a calming way. The worker popped in front of us. Kiara said, “I feel like they try to get us to jump, but I’m an Alpha wolf. They won’t get me to do that.” I replied, “That I know and thank you because they do make my heart jump.” Kiara chuckled in my head.

The Fairy pouted, “Duchess Emmaline, you never bring wolves that jump. I’ve heard the Omega’s are more jumpy.” Emmaline replied, “I’ve brought some here and they didn’t jump either.” The Fairy sighed, “Your relaxation room is up first.”

Sharon grinned, “I wonder what it will look like.” I snorted, “Dylan is involved so the theme is Christmas.” Idel said, “I’m so in. Theo nearly turned red when the pups went off the rails. The man has got to lighten up.”
