I replied, “I love you too, Dylan.” Dylan made love to me slowly, time and time again until my eyes fluttered closed after our last round. I felt Dylan pull me against him. When I woke up the next morning, my mate was drinking his coffee.

I glanced at the clock before saying, “This is quite the early start.” Dylan grinned telling me, “I have plans on plans to go over. I’m so behind. Fairies are the best though. I have mock ups. I still have to take TeleTed’s time and Alpha Baby Daddy’s mate. They kept secrets and therefore they must suffer until the end of time for that.”

I laughed, “How many meetings are you going to have?” Dylan grinned, “It’s quite intense, but don’t you worry I’vebeen to the Sleep Tyrant school of planning a sleep schedule. I SHAN’T give up my Lacy loving or time. It’s paramount to me. As is spending time with our pups.”

“It is enough time to make SGAP’s eye twitch about how much I’m in his territory. Haley and I worked out when I can take Buttercup to spend time with Wesley though. I have to nurture that SGAP DNA out of him, you know? He will ask good questions if it kills me.”

I laughed, “Wesley does ask a lot of questions.” Dylan grinned, “I know. Isn’t it great? That’s all me. SGAP gets no credit. I foster that curious Fairy side of young Wesley. It’s hard work, but someone has to do it, and it won’t be SGAP. So, it falls to me as so many hard jobs do.”

Dylan came over and kissed me, and I knew I surprised him when I pulled him by his shirt back into bed. Dylan wiggled his eyebrows, “Does my Lacy need her morning loving?” I answered, “With you? Always.” Dylan growled, “MINE!”

I grinned and got thoroughly claimed before he got up for his first meeting. I got up and got ready before heading to Kris’s Christmas shop. I walked in and waved at the store owner. I gave him a hug and squeezed him extra tight today.

Kris asked, “To what do I owe the pleasure, Lacy?” I said, “I need something for Dylan. I’ll be back once my Secret Santa person has been assigned. Dylan has to know I came first. Or I’ll just hang out until the email comes out because it’s coming today.” I knew that for a fact because that’s how Dylan did things.

Kris laughed and took me around the store. I didn’t know who I had for secret Santa, but I could get ideas. The system would definitely email me shortly, which would let me narrow down ideas. I was already here so my mate could brag that I came first to get it off my list.

It got my Beta mate going when I followed his lists. Kiara purred, “Yes, it does.” My name came through twenty minutes after I arrived. So, Dylan had already set up the system or re-activated it. I wasn’t sure which one.

After I made my purchases, I left and noticed a big group heading to the shop and couldn’t help but smile. Dylan had interjected his usual fun into the pack. I couldn’t be prouder to be his mate, and I was honestly really excited for the party.

No Christmas Witches

August

Dylan was rubbing his hands together. Lucas came into our office and groaned, “No. Why are you doing that? It’s too early for this, Dylan.” Finn laughed, “Dad has his meeting for his Christmas Party today with everyone that’s planning it.”

I agreed, “I do. Don’t worry though, I’m still here for our first meeting. Then little Finn is going to sit in with Travis today. Like a good little learning the ropes Beta pup.” Finn gave me a high five. I whispered, “And he’s going to throw in quips to keep everyone laughing in my absence.” Finn saluted me.

Jayden walked in as I added, “I also have your oldest coming in to do things.” Jayden walked over to sit by Finn, and they began talking animatedly. Lucas sighed, “Sometimes I just don’t know why we all don’t admit it’s your world and we live in it.”

I agreed, “The world would be a better place should that ever happen when you think about it, Lucas.” Lucas chuckled and I sipped on my coffee. Finn asked, “When do I get coffee like you, dad?” I gasped, “Your Frappuccino is coffee in milkshake form. That we don’t tell your mother I buy you because it’s between us.”

Lucas yelled, “DYLAN!” I asked, “What?” Lucas gave me a look. Jayden huffed, “I want one. That would be fair, dad.” I pouted, “Yeah, dad.” Lucas pointed at his son saying, “That’s what, Dylan!” I gasped, “What? How was I to anticipate that?” I whispered, “I so did.” Then I produced another Frappuccino from the cooler at my feet.

Lucas asked, “In what world did you think my point was that you didn’t have a Frappuccino for my son?” I answered, “This one, obviously. You need coffee, Lucas. It’s your own faultbecause you are the Sleep Tyrant in all our lives.” I handed Jayden his Frappuccino. My nephew smirked then started to drink it.

Lucas linked me, “Why?” I answered, “I’m the fun uncle, Lucas. You really should’ve seen this coming.” Lucas growled, “They will be all caffeinated for the meetings too.” I gasped, “Oh my stars and garters! That totally escaped my attention. I cannot believe I did not think of that consequence while I’ll be all the way over in Black Mountain. For shame on me, leaving you with caffeinated pups in your very boring, boring meetings.” My sarcasm was on point today.

Fang snorted, “Double boring. You’re on it today.” Lucas’s meeting were double boring today. I couldn’t let him have fun meeting with out me. That would be sacrilegious. I had to be at the top of my game to hang out with Fairies today.

Lucas glared at me. Fang chuckled, “I’m getting lectured by Dominic about how they know that was sarcasm.” I replied, “Well, I’d hope they do. That’s clearly the point and if he missed it, I’d have to book him an appointment with a doctor.”

Lucas sighed, “Why, Dylan?” I replied, “I have to make sure you have fun in my absence, Lucas. It’s my duty as your Beta.” I whispered, “I also supplied donuts for the pups at their summer camp today. It’s practically a sugar fest complete with pop.” Lucas’s jaw dropped and he rubbed his temples.

I admitted, “I don’t know why this surprises you.” Lucas admitted, “Honestly, I don’t know either.” SGAP and Beta Caleb entered the room. I asked, “And where is Gamma Marshall?” SGAP asked, “Where is Gamma Alex?” I replied, “Corralling the sugar filled pups. Your turn.”

Beta Caleb chuckled, “He’s outside because he’s taken pity on Gamma Alex. Marshall is trying to help him.” I raised my mug, “What a good man he is. I’ve always said that about Gamma Marshall whose title you missed.”

Alex linked me, “WHAT THE FUCK, DYLAN?! I have done nothing to you.” I replied, “I’m making sure everyone has fun today! I really don’t feel you’re taking it in the spirit it was intended. You should work on that.” Alex growled, “The pups are bouncing off the walls here.” I replied, “I know. Isn’t it great?” Alex shouted, “NO!” I replied, “Live a little. Send them Lucas’s way in an hour and have them play tag. Or do the Christmas games I kindly set out for you. Think outside the box.”

Alex replied, “It is August!” I replied, “It’s Christmas Party planning day, which means it’s Christmas to all. Hence why there is eggnog in the gym. Dylanmas is being planned and that’s a happy day for all.” Alex asked in an attempt at a calm tone, “There is what in the gym?” I answered, “I said what I said, and I know you heard me.” He groaned back.

SGAP asked, “Are those Frappuccino’s?” Jayden answered, “Yup!” Then he popped next to SGAP and gave him a hug then popped all around the room while Finn chased after him trying to catch him. I grinned, “And so the fun of Christmas in August begins. You’re welcome.”

Lucas glared at me while I just smiled. Beta Caleb said, “Ok, so this is happening, and I’ll just prepare for it to happen during every Christmas Party planning session.” I added, “Don’t think any allies are safe, Beta Caleb. I’m the giver of all cheer during this season.”

SGAP groaned, “What did you do?” I answered, “Are you under the belief I don’t spread Christmas cheer? I even got Alpha Theo’s pack’s pups going. He’s trying to avoid my Christmas joy, but I’ll get him. He’ll smile and thank me one day.” SGAP rolled his eyes.
