Especially when she straddles my hips and moves her shorts to the side. My hand finds her hip and grips.
“Take what you need, Pretty Girl.”
She sinks down on me in one smooth motion and we both moan in sync. Moving my hand up to her throat I guide her to my mouth because I can’t not kiss her for another second. She begins moving trying to find her rhythm, finally finding the perfect pace for both of us. She’s using my pelvis to add the perfect amount of pressure to her clit. I’m ravishing her mouth, tilting her head to take the kiss deeper before breaking it to start in on her neck and behind her ear. The entire time we’re both getting closer and closer to our climaxes. I can feel her starting to pulse around me as my fingers skim down her body to tease her.
“Come for me baby. You’re so fucking pretty when you come on my cock. Show me.” Throwing her head back she screams my name as her pussy clamps down on me and I’m following her off the edge of the cliff with her name on my lips. She collapses onto me, and I don’t dare tell her that the side of her head caught my shoulder.

I haven’t seen Kieran since we got home the day of the shooting. That was three days ago. I’m back to business as usual, albeit with my arm still in a sling. I decided to call him earlier but it went straight to voicemail. I’m getting agitatedso I shoot Mac a text to come to my office. He struts in a few minutes later, he looks like he hasn’t slept in days. Dark bags under his eyes, his hair messed up more than usual and then there’s the giant yawn he lets out as he sits down. I’m not in a beat around the bush mood today.
“You good?” He shakes his head, pauses, nods, then let’s out another big yawn.
“Yeah, I’m fine. I’m just not sleeping. Too much on my mind.” Oh I get it now.
“Who is she?”
His eyes widen and he sits up straight, “How’d you know it was a girl?”
This time I can’t help but laugh, “Oh baby brother, it’s always a girl. Want to tell me about it?”
He shakes his head and clams up, “No it’s no big deal, anyways what’d you call me in for?” I’ll let him off easy for now, but I’ll be coming back to this later.
“Have you seen or heard from Kieran today? Because I haven’t since the day of the shooting.” Mac’s gaze drops to his hands.
“He was in his room last I checked, but Roe he seems really off. I don’t think he wants to talk.”
What the fuck? “Yeah, that’s not happening. We don’t go through shit, especially the hard shit alone. You know that, Mac. I’ll go find him. Do you have any idea what could be wrong?” Mac looks back up at me, eyes that look almost identical to mine full of indecision.
Finally he sighs, “Yeah, I think he’s shaken up over the shooting.” Now that has my attention. I’ve never been in a situation like the other day with Kieran there. He handled himself like a pro, but I should have checked in on him sooner.I tend to forget that just because he puts off that he has no emotions and nothing bothers him doesn’t mean that that’s true. Pushing up from my desk I set out to find Kieran and figure out what’s actually going on with him.
Knocking, then slowly pushing open Kieran’s door I step in to find him on his laptop, headphones on and engrossed in whatever he’s watching and listening to. Moving over beside him he still hasn’t checked up. He’s typically the most perceptive out of all of us. I don’t check to see what he’s watching because frankly it’s none of my business. I push his laptop closed and finally his eyes come to me, he looks like he just got caught doing something wrong. His eyes flare with shock and what looks like guilt. Huh, maybe I should have looked at what he was doing. Kieran pops his headphones out of his ears and his shock and guilt turn into annoyance.
“What are you doing in here, Roe?”
“What is that?” Zeroing in on his jaw I take my hand and turn his head so I can see the other side of his face. Sure as shit, there’s a bruise blooming on his jaw. “Kieran, who the fuck hit you?!”
He jerks his face out of my hand and shoots me a glare, “I was training with Ryan and he caught me with my guard down. It’s no big deal.”
Ryan is Kieran’s best friend, they’ve been thick as thieves almost as long as Kellum and I have. The problem with what he’s saying isn’t that he was with Ryan, it’s that he swore to us he’d stop with the underground fights over two years ago after the last time. That’s his story to tell, but regardless I’m pissed.
“You’re fighting again?! Did you learn absolutely nothing from last time?” I can feel my face heating with rage.
“Calm down, I’m not fighting. I train still because I torture people for information for a fucking living Rowan. Or did you forget that?”
Okay, he’s got me there, “You’re right, my bad. That’s not what I even came in here to talk about.”
Kieran motions to the chair at his desk for me to sit in and get this over with. He rolls his eyes, “What did you want to talk about?”
“Well first off, you’re a ray of fucking sunshine today. Second, why have you been avoiding me?” He narrows his eyes then looks away, it’s his tell that he’s about to give me some bullshit excuse.
“I’m not, I’ve just been busy the past few days.”
I’ve lost his eyes and I know he’s not going to bring them back to me easily, “Kieran, talk to me. What’s going on?”
He sits in silence, and I sit with him. We stay like this for about ten minutes before he cracks. Hearing what I think is a shuttered breath before he speaks quietly.
“I watched you get shot. You were bleeding a lot, what if you would have died?” That knocks the air out of my lungs. I wasn’t expecting him to be honest with me.
