“Right, I understand. I move a lot too, but we do have a home here in the outskirts that we stay in.”
Liza’s face is flushed and her eyes shine brightly, enjoying their walk.
“Liza, how long have you been living in this town?”
“Oh, we have been here for about six years. Sofia Rose was promoted into this position. I always follow Sofia Rose because she’s my best friend.”
Liza blushes, biting her lower lip, and adjusts her purse strap on her shoulder. She looks down the street, wide-eyed.
Oh my, I’m talking too much and I don’t know why he wants to know. I have to make sure that they are not out to hurt Sofia Rose. What’s wrong with me? I’m allowing my feelings that I have for him to open up. That’s not good. I’m a Fairy Guardian, and I need to do my job before I think about myself.
Liza stops in front of the apartment complex. She turns to him as she slides the card to open the door.
“This is where I live.”
Liza walks to the elevator and pushes the button. She turns to look at Andrei, nodding.
“I live on the fourth floor and Sofia Rose on the sixth.”
The elevator doors open and they step inside. Andrei pushes the number four button, turning to look at her.
“It is an old apartment.”
“Yes, it is. Most of Saint Grove has old structures. I think that it’s facinating. Sofia Rose and I love the history behind the town and buildings.”
The elevator doors open and Liza walks out. Andrei follows her out into the hallway. She walks down the hall and stops at the door. She pulls out her key, unlocks the door, then turns the knob.
Liza looks over her shoulder, startled. Her huge golden brown eyes glow, and she turns away to open the door.
“Come in, Andy.”
Andrei nods and follows her inside. He watches her hips sway softly with each step. His eyes travel up to look at her shining deep burgandy braided ponytail. He stops right behind her when she stops to open the apartment door.
Andrei inhales and the delicious smell of the stew hits him. His stomach growls.
“Wow, I’m so pleased that you invited me to have some stew. It smells delicous.”
Liza walks into the small living room and kicks off her high heels, smiling happily. She throws her purse onto the kitchen counter.
“Wonderful! I’m starving. I can’t wait for you to taste it.”
“Liza, where are you from?”
Liza pulls open the drawer to pull out some spoons and pulls open the upper cabinet door to pull out some bowls.
Andrei stands at the side of the counter, watching her every move, waiting for an answer.
Wow, simply damn beautiful! She’s so graceful and totally hot!
“I’m from Virgina. I was born deep in the Blue Ridge mountains in a small town.”
She looks at him, smiles a small smile, and a soft rose blush creeps up her neck. Her rose aura starts to glow softly.
Yeah, she is something other than human. Her rose aura is beautiful.
Liza opens the crockpot and serves their dinner. She takes the bowls and walks over to the small round glass table that’s sitting next to the window. She quickly places the spoons on the table. She walks over to get the wine glass, looking at him wide-eyed.
“Would you like some wine or water?”
