“I believe so, Ms. Nielsen.”

“Yes, that’s my understanding. Mr. Bartz stated that it is stronger than the one before. That’s amazing. I’m working on the accounts and I’m about halfway done. It will be done tomorrow.”

“That’s good to hear. I’ll tell Niko.”

“Great, I’ll be here for a while,” says Sofia Rose, smiling. She turns to look at Liza, crossing her arms.

“Liza, I think you should go home and relax. Tomorrow will be buzy since the citizens of Saint Grove are setting up for the Octoberfest activites in the town square.”

“Right, yes. That’s always so much fun. I heard about a special event taking place.”

“I’ll be back tomorrow, Ms. Nielsen.” Andrei nods at her.

“I understand. I would like to ask Mr. Bartz a few questions. I hope you tell him that I would like to speak to him.”

“I will infrom him of your wish to talk to him.”

“I’ll see you later, Sofia Rose.”

“Liza, I won’t be over. I plan on going home so I can go to bed. I want to be here early in the morning,” says Sofia Rose, looking over at Andrei.

“Okay, then I’ll see you tomorrow. Night and be careful, Sofia Rose.”

“No worries.”

“Night, Ms. Neilsen,” says Andrei. He turns to look at Liza.

“Ms. Collins, I would like to speak to you. May I have a moment?”

Liza’s beautiful huge brown eyes open wide. She glances quickly at Sofia Rose, and then nods.

“Yes, Mr. Bartz.”

They walk down the hall, leaving Sofia Rose in the office. She frowns, looks at them for a second, before shrugging, shaking her head. She turns around to continue to work.

The early evening sky is turning into a dark navy night with a huge October moon. The colorful leaves fall from the trees, and sail around the streets.

Liza and Andrei walk out of the bank. Liza turns around to lock the front wooden door. Her hand shakes; his scent floods her senses. She turns to look at Andrei, waiting for him to ask his questions.

“Ms. Collins, I would like to take you out to have some dinner. I would like to talk to you for a few.”

Liza’s eyes widen, her huge gold brown eyes glow like fine brandy, and small silver specks sparkle. She turns to look at him, nodding.

“I would like to have dinner, but I have dinner waiting at home. I have dinner cooking in my crockpot. It’s nothing fancy, but it is delicious. I have homemade stew. Would you like to have dinner at my home?”

Andrei raises his eyebrow, surprised and pleased. He gazes into her eyes, smiles a small sexy smile, and nods.

“Yes, that sounds wonderful. Please call me Andy. Thank you for inviting me.”

“Okay, you can call me Liza. I don’t live far. It’s down the street on the next block. I live in the same apartment complex that Sofia Rose lives in.”

She turns to the right and starts walking down the street with Andrei next to her. She blushes a soft rose color, and smiles as she turns to look up.

“We need to make a turn here, and then we will be there in a few minutes.”

“It really is a charming small town. I haven’t been here in a long time since Niko always handles the banks.”

“Yes it is lovely. I do enjoy living here. We have moved so much that sometimes the towns appear the same, but this one is special.”
