“No,” Nick whimpered.

“I’m just gonna take a picture or ten,” Brian said, wheeling closer.

Every muscle in Nick’s body contracted, and he all but levitated off the man. “I’m sorry for tackling you and for all body parts that made contact afterward. It would make me very happy if we never spoke of this again,” he said, looking everywhere but at Gabe Cher.

“I, too, am sorry. First for being distracted by Wander’s unmatched beauty,” Gabe said as Nick pulled him to his humongous feet.

“Let’s skip past the part where you tell me about having sex with my girlfriend’s sister.”

“A gentleman never procreates and discusses,” Gabe said. “I will skip ahead in my apologies. I am also sorry that contact with my genitalia made you uncomfortable. Every human body is a miracle. Especially Wander’s.”

“Yep. Fast-forwarding through all of that.” Nick made a circular motion with his hands, encouraging the man to talk faster.

“Then I will tell you the reason I opened the door is because I feel that Riley is in danger.”

“Should have led with that,” Nick said.

“I am sorry. I am having difficulty thinking straight.”

“Those Thorn women will do that to a guy,” Nick said. “Now, where the hell is Riley?”

“Nick!”

He turned and found her on the stairs. Relief and arousal warred as he pushed his way toward her. Her wig and guitar were missing. But she was in one piece and she still looked damn good in that jumpsuit.

He was ten feet away from her when all hell broke loose.

The kitchen door flew open, making Nick doubt his own sanity. Josie was clinging to the shoulders of a gigantic octopus that seemed determined to dislodge her. The mask came free, and she shouted triumphantly as Gunther’s face was revealed. “Got him!”

Before Nick even managed a step in their direction, Gunther got a good grip on her and dragged Josie over his shoulder, tossing her forward like a volleyball. Josie rolled into a ball, somersaulted twice, and came up on her feet next to Brian’s wheelchair.

“That’s my wife, you son of a bitch!” Brian said, producing a Taser and firing it with impressive accuracy at the henchman.

The attachments hit the man in the face and chest, and one press of the button brought him to his knees.

“My hero,” Josie said, giving Brian a kiss before walking over to kick Gunther in the junk.

He toppled over and crashed to the floor.

“Nick!”

He turned and caught Riley as she threw herself into his arms. His engorged cock cheered at the friction even as he told it to shut the hell up and focus on the danger.

“Royce is unconscious in a closet upstairs. Lurlene is here somewhere looking for Sesame. She’s going to kill…well, everyone.”

“Did they hurt you?” he growled.

She shook her head. “They didn’t have enough time.”

There was a loud crash followed by a shrill scream that sounded like it came from the front porch. Mrs. Penny vaulted off her Cleopatra bed and pointed her cane at the front door. “Get ’em, boys!”

Her greased-up security detail giggled and snickered their way to the door.

“I want my money back,” Nick snapped. He wanted to put Riley someplace safe, but there wasn’t time. “You stay with me. Do not let anyone kidnap you or knock you unconscious or infect you with the psychic flu.”

She gave him a watery grin. “I’ll do my best. But first…” She turned and cupped her hands to her mouth. “We’ve got a Code Man Fanny in the dining room! I repeat! A Code Man Fanny!”

Lily led the charge toward the back of the house.
