“God, I love you all so damned much,” James says. “This is perfect.”

Caroline stirs on my chest, giving a happy sigh. “This couldn’t be better.”

Cas gives a grunt of agreement. “I can’t believe you really thought you could leave us.”

I try to stifle a chuckle, but she feels the vibration in my chest. She lifts her head and gives me a look.

“Too soon?” I ask.

But then she smiles. She looks at James and Cas. “I can’t believe it either, honestly. There’s nowhere else I’d rather be.”

James rolls his head to look at her. “Well, just know, as of right now, if you ever leave, we’re coming after you.” His gaze slides to me. “I’m very close to a millionaire who would happily come with me to chase you around the world.”

I slide my arms around her and squeeze. “Damn right.”

She gives me a sweet, sexy smile. “Hmmm…that sounds kind of fun.”

“It does,” Cas says. “Wait ’til the kids are a little older and we’ll all follow you all over. Evie and Noah would be great world travelers.”

I’m startled to see her eyes fill with tears suddenly, but she’s smiling at the same time. “That sounds amazing. But maybe I won’t run. If we all go together I can sit in first class, right?”

I laugh and run my hands up and down her back. “Absolutely.”

Then she wiggles and slides off of me, then off the bed.

I prop up on my elbows. “Hey what are you doing?”

She gives us all a big grin as she backs toward the bedroom door. “Just thinking that having you all chase me sounds fun…and we can do that right here without anyone actually leaving.” Then she runs out of the bedroom.

I look over at James and Cas.

James is grinning and shaking his head. Cas is already off the bed and pulling on his boxers.

“I think it’s good there are three of us,” James says. “She’s going to be a handful. And on top of those two babies, she’s gonna wearusout.”

“Yep,” Cas says, starting for the door. “And whoever catches her gets his hands full of her first…next.”

Laughing, James and I jump off the bed and dive for our clothes.

And as I hear Caroline’s happy shriek from the next room, I realize the best part of this is I don’t even care who catches her first, because this is going to be amazing for all four of us all the time.

CHAPTER36

Cas

“All unpacked?”I ask as Grayson and Caroline come out of his bedroom, looking disheveled.

Caroline is giggling and flushed.

Grayson looks satisfied and smug. He’s carrying Caroline’s empty suitcase. “Yep.”

“If you can call dumping all my clothes on a chair unpacking.”

“Then what took you so long?” James asks with a grin, pulling the takeout boxes we’ve just arrived with out of the bag with one hand, Evelyn on his opposite hip. “We were gone for thirty minutes picking the food up.”

I reach into Grayson’s kitchen cupboards and pull out plates and bowls, Noah asleep in the baby carrier I have strapped to me. We’re going to have to sort out dinner better than this in the future and nap times and schedules, but for today, it will do. It’s only been two days since Caroline came flying into the gym, a little spitfire of emotion, telling us she’s in love with all of us.

We’ve got details to deal with, but we’re all so fucking happy with this outcome it’s ridiculous.
