“It’s fine. I’m just a little surprised you have them. It’s like you knew I’d be here.”

He kicks the refrigerator door shut and has that playful look I like seeing in his eyes. “Well, you see, I have this way of getting men back to my apartment and knew you’d be here at some point.”

“Oh really?”

“Yeah. I’m too fabulous to ignore.”

“Wow.” I chuckle. “Confident much.”

“Someone has to be.” He winks. “Come. Sit. Make yourself at home.”

I slip off my jacket and carry the two pizza boxes, placing them on the coffee table as Wade takes the remote to his music station and selects Spotify.

“Any preference?”

“I like anything other than Jazz and heavy rap,” I say, guiding a pizza slice to my mouth.

“Excellent. I’ll just put it on shuffle.”

Within seconds, the sound of OneRepublic plays out across his living space. Taking the ketchup, Wade squirts a dollop on the lid of the open pizza box, takes a slice and dips it into the sauce.

I watch his every move, and the second the tip of the pizza hits his tongue, my mind conjures provocative thoughts I’ve never had when it comes to him. I’ve thought about him, yes, but not once has my mind steered in the direction of what it would be like to have his mouth wrapped around my dick, to have his lips on my skin, to have my tongue feel the cool metal bar of his piercing before I take his nipple into my mouth.

The fuck…

I clear my throat and reposition myself on the couch, trying to hide the fact I’m turned on and wanting my mind to think of something else before I’m caught out.

“What’s your favorite movie?” I ask, randomly.

“Dirty Dancing,” he says without hesitation, and I can’t help but chuckle.

“Well, I wasn’t expecting that.”

“It’s my guilty pleasure.”

“Do you have any other guilty pleasures you want to confess to?”

“I’m a fan of the Backstreet boys.”

I grin. “The Backstreet boys?”

“Don’t tell anyone. That shit is between us.”

“So you’re embarrassed about it?”

He side-eyes me, grinning. “No. I just know there is a lot of love out there for AJ, and I don’t like to share my men.”

I burst out laughing, reaching forward for my J2o and twisting the cap, not sure how to answer that one.

“So, how about you? What’s your favorite movie, music, or group? Let me into the world of Asher a little more.”

I place down my drink and grab another slice of pizza. “Movie would be anything James Bond. Music, as I said anything but Jazz or heavy rap. Although, I do like Imagine Dragons and Coldplay. And I’m partial to pineapple on pizza.”

He gasps dramatically, a look of horror on his face as he points to the door. “Get out.”

I’m laughing at his reaction and it’s not long before he, too, finds it amusing. “You’ve been hanging around your sister too much.”

“It was her that got me into it.”
