Christmas in Budgie Bay

Sandy Everhart never planned to come home for good.

But after trading New York City for the little coastal town she once couldn’t wait to escape, she’s beginning to wonder if Budgie Bay has been home all along.
Her daughter lives next door. Her aging father needs her. The whole town seems determined to pull her back into its cozy, meddling embrace. And after rescuing a shivering white budgie from the snow, Sandy is faced with a startling realization.

She’s becoming her mother.
Maybe that’s not such a terrible thing after all.
Then Upton Asbury comes home for Christmas.

Twenty-five years ago, Sandy loved him enough to follow him to Seattle and feared losing herself enough to walk away carrying a secret that changed both their lives. Now that secret is grown, married, expecting a baby of her own… and finally getting the chance to know her father.

For Upton, it’s everything he’s waited for.
And so is Sandy.

Between family dinners, old Christmas ornaments, late-night drives through twinkling lights, and a wedding reception that brings all of Budgie Bay together, the life Sandy thought she’d left behind begins knitting itself back together.

Only this time, she doesn’t want to run.

Because sometimes coming home isn’t about returning to the place you left.
It’s about finally choosing the people who never stopped loving you.

A heartwarming later-in-life Christmas romance about first love, second chances, family, forgiveness, and finding your way home when you least expect it.
