So, when Jake hears the news about Caitlin’s situation, he doesn’t hesitate to offer her a place in the guest house next door. Despite his attempts to keep her at an arms length, he’s no longer able to skate around the feelings he’s harbored for years.

As Caitlin and her daughter readjust to small town life, she can’t help but feel like something is missing. But the longer she spends time with Jake—especially once he creates a bucket list in an effort to help her rediscover her worth—Caitlin starts to find her spark again…and maybe even a way to heal the scars they’ve both covered up along the way.
