Starting over in Los Angeles was not supposed to be easy, but I did not expect it to feel this lonely either. I left everything behind in Alaska to build something real: a yoga studio, a fresh start, and maybe even a version of myself I can finally like. Then I meet Vincent Vickers. He is charming, quick-witted, and hiding more than he lets on. I tell myself it is just a job, just a temporary connection.
