Free Fall

I’ve made a lot of bad decisions in my life but letting Trey Bennett move in might top the list. For months, I resisted him—the smooth-talking, untamed, and way-too-handsome bull rider who somehow got under my skin. But broke is broke, and when he offered to rent my spare room, I couldn’t say no.

He was supposed to be recovering. Lying low. Temporary.
Instead, he’s fixing things around my house, winning over my grandma, and getting closer than I ever meant to let him. We have rules—boundaries I swore I’d keep—but they don’t mean much when every time he looks at me, I forget why I built walls in the first place.
