When a guy turns up to arrest my boyfriend at the end of a long shift on April Fool’s Day, I don’t believe it. My friend must be pranking me because I told her that I think Doug is cheating. Then my boyfriend sheds his skin and turns into something that is definitely not human. Being saved by aliens, and helping them find Doug, is not how I planned on spending the evening.

Revealing ourselves to a non-spacefaring planet is forbidden. If Doug thinks it will prevent us from arresting him, he is wrong. Now we have an alien on the run and a human who thinks she can help us, Thistle, the best bounty hunters this arm of the galaxy. Although she might be right, as we are unfamiliar with Earth, and Doug knows how to hide.
