The Throwaway

Some dreams are so precious, so desired, that you know they’ll never come true.
Love.
Family.
Belonging.
Him.
But I can’t seem to help dreaming of having all of those things. Things that someone like me has no right to want.
I’m a castoff in my own life. Used, abused, and discarded. Unworthy.
But he makes it better. He is a light in my darkest times. He gives me a voice when I can’t find my own.
To the world he’s a celebrity, the hottest new fighter in TCF. But he will always be my best friend.

My family.
My everything.
