Stalkers are status quo in the world of the rich and famous. I’m neither, but that’s not stopping one from hunting me down.

My last boss blacklisted me in the entertainment industry. So when I get the offer of a lifetime in a dark, sweaty club at 2am, I take it and don’t look back. Being an assistant in the entertainment industry might not be my dream job, but it’ll pay the bills.
Then I meet my new boss, Kai Kobayashi, a man more irritating than a spilled box of rusty nails in the dark. He’s rude, ruthless, and his schedule is so packed I barely have time to breathe.
Not that I’m still breathing when a business trip goes wrong and I’m left sharing a room with the oh-so-sexy ex-idol.
When we run into my former boss at a charity event, things escalate, and it becomes clear that he’s not finished with me. Too bad my new boss is a bit territorial. One moment of weakness later, and my clothes are on the floor–right next to his. But when he woke up, I was already gone from his bed.

I’ve never been attracted to men like Kai. But something about him feels safe. And I haven’t felt that in a very long time.
