His Island Angel

Sophie Brown lives on the west coast of Florida and cleans vacation rentals for a living. After she finishes a job on a tiny barrier island, she’s ready to head to the mainland, beating a storm. However, when she finds an unconscious man and takes him to the rental house, the storm forces them to stay overnight. The man, suffering from a concussion, doesn’t remember the circumstances surrounding his injury.
Ephraim Collins works for the Brotherhood Protectors now, but in the past, he worked freelance in security and protection jobs and wasn’t too choosy. Now, his past is coming back to haunt him when someone thinks he knows too much and targets him.

When by the person tracking Ephraim turns their focus on Sophie, they realize she is in danger as well. Together, they have to find the person putting both of them at risk and finally resolve the past.
