I didn’t want much in life. Not really. I liked to live day by day, in the moment, ya know? The only dream I had as a kid was to follow in my dad’s footsteps and become a Steel Paragon. The club was my family growing up, and now, it was not only my family, it was my life. My heart. My soul.
I’d do anything for my club and they’d do anything for me.
But life as a Paragon meant you never dropped your guard. It only took one moment of weakness to mess everything up. And I wasn’t the only one to pay for my mistake.
When your life is on the line, you suddenly see things a lot clearer.
Like how I was in love with Evan and Cat, and all the ways I’d taken them for granted. And how all these feelings could tear the three of us apart.
I had to tell them. I had to fix it, even if I didn’t have the first clue how.
But first… I had to make it out alive.
