After two years of captivity, I’ve been “rescued” by another alien. But the supposed rescue quickly goes south when we crash on an icy planet. Freezing and in a broken shuttle, I have to work with this alien to survive. But as Mindy keeps smiling at me and moving closer and closer, I can’t help but wonder if this isn’t as horrible as I thought.

My plan to rescue the captive human didn’t quite work, but it’ll be fine. My brothers will find us. Until then, I will protect him. But the longer we spend together, the more I want to touch him and make him laugh. It’s only natural, right? It’s because we’re friends, though why does that thought bother me?
